Le Tong ntioned Nuonuo suddenly being interested in a certain movie star to Ji Rui. The couple discussed it and both agreed that as long as Nuonuo wasn’t showing any abnormal behavior, it was best to temporarily stay put.

Nuonuo was almost sixteen, no longer the little girl who carried a small backpack and clung to her parents and brother all day. As parents, they should also give her enough space to think and make choices.

They didn’t tell Da Bao about this matter either. Firstly, Da Bao was really busy lately. Secondly, they feared Da Bao might overreact and do sothing extre, which could inadvertently lead Nuonuo to make an incorrect decision.

Nuonuo, however, didn’t notice anything different about her parents. Besides, with Little Treasure back these few days, her attention shifted from the script to Little Treasure instead.

The siblings went out together to play ball, cycle, and hike. Occasionally, when Little Treasure invited so high school friends to hang out, Nuonuo joined them too. Anyway, Little Treasure’s friends were generally in their early twenties, about the sa age as Da Bao, so Nuonuo got along well with them and was familiar with them as well.

When Nuonuo went out with her current high school classmates, Little Treasure occasionally tagged along too. Although he was younger, no one dared treat him as a younger brother. Two girls who were good friends with Nuonuo even shyly asked her privately if Little Treasure had a girlfriend.

As for Little Treasure’s girlfriend, Nuonuo really hadn’t seen one.

"Little Treasure, do you have a girlfriend now?"

In private, Nuonuo asked quite bluntly, anyway, she and Little Treasure had long been accustod to speaking directly to each other. If she beat around the bush, she might end up getting an eye-roll from Little Treasure.

"No!" Little Treasure answered just as straightforwardly.

"Why not? My brother is so handso, is there really no one interested?" Nuonuo said with a look of regret.

"Idiot!"

Little Treasure eventually gave her a big eye roll, "Sister, did you forget? I’m only fifteen. All my classmates are in their early twenties. I’m not into older sisters!"

Nuonuo suddenly realized, "Oh right! How could I forget that? Then do you have any online friends your age that you’re interested in?"

Nuonuo knew Little Treasure ford teams to play gas and that there were quite a few pretty girls in the group.

"Childish, not interested!" Little Treasure seed to find his sister’s words boring, took out the computer, and lowered his head to play gas.

Nuonuo originally wanted to set up her two friends with Little Treasure, hoping they’d form deeper connections. But hearing him speak so clearly, she dared not presu, stuck out her tongue, and leaned over to watch him play gas with her chin resting on his shoulder.

So, over the next few days, when Ji Rui and Le Tong ca ho from work, they often saw the siblings happily playing gas together or one playing gas while the other read, the scene was extrely harmonious and pleasant to the eyes.

"It seems like Nuonuo really doesn’t care about others’ invitations, right?" Le Tong, gradually relieved, said this to Ji Rui.

Ji Rui thought the sa as Le Tong, and the information conveyed by Director Sun was also roughly that the female lead hadn’t been decided yet.

On Zhang Ziweng’s side, Director Sun was urging so much she had a headache. So, she had no choice but to brace herself to call Nuonuo.

To be honest, she was quite reluctant to call Si Han during the holidays. All the Ji Family mbers were sharp, and she couldn’t compete with any single one of them, let alone a whole group.

Contacting Si Han during the holidays was like poking a hornet’s nest, always at risk of facing criticism and rebuke from the entire Ji Family.

When Nuonuo’s phone rang, she was playing rock-paper-scissors with Little Treasure, a ga so childish because after Aunt Guan made noodles for the siblings, she went out to buy groceries. The siblings were too lazy to move after eating, and neither wanted to wash dishes. In the end, they had to use the most primitive childish ga to decide who would wash the dishes.

Nuonuo’s ringtone was a short violin piece she composed herself, so it was particularly recognizable.

"Sister, your phone."

A distracted Nuonuo eventually lost two to three, grudgingly crawled over to pick up the phone, glanced at the caller ID, guiltily glanced at Little Treasure, then quickly got up and walked to the terrace to answer the call.

Little Treasure assud it was a call from Brother Dabao, pursed his lips, and muttered, "Always showing off their relationship!" Then, glancing at Nuonuo’s silhouette, he stretched out and lay down on the floor, resting his hands behind his head and closing his eyes for a nap.

Nuonuo carefully closed the terrace door and nervously answered the call, "Hello, Sister Ziweng..."

Her voice was so low, even though the ho’s sound insulation was excellent and the interior couldn’t hear the terrace once the door was closed. But a guilty Nuonuo still glanced at the interior a few tis with her eyes. Seeing Little Treasure comfortably lying on the carpet, her heart slightly settled.

"Si Han, have you finished reading the script?" Zhang Ziweng asked quite euphemistically.

Nuonuo was smart. She had actually finished reading it once several days ago and completed a second reading by yesterday, but she said, "Sorry, Sister Ziweng, I’ve been busy attending training these days, so I’ve only read a little. Didn’t you say I could reply before school starts?"

With Nuonuo saying this, Zhang Ziweng naturally felt embarrassed to ask her whether she’d accept or not.

"Oh, is that so? Then when do you think you can finish it? Although Director Sun said to wait until you return to school, he also wants to get such a good script on the screen as soon as possible."

Nuonuo liked the script very much, but she hadn’t made up her mind to accept it yet. After hearing what Ziweng said, she felt she was delaying other people’s work and progress, feeling a bit guilty.’

"Sister Ziweng, I’m sorry. How about you look for others first? My ti..."

Zhang Ziweng on the other end wished she could slap herself a few tis; how did she corner herself with her own words, giving Nuonuo an excuse to refuse?

"Oh no, Si Han, you mustn’t think this way. Director Sun indeed wants to get it on the screen as soon as possible, but you are his most favored choice. He’s willing to wait more days if it’s for you. You don’t need to hurry. Take your ti and read it slowly." Zhang Ziweng hastily interrupted her, trying to steer the conversation back on track.

But Nuonuo, however, beca stubborn.

"Forget it, I still won’t accept it. I’m a student, and if filming conflicts with classes in the future, I’ll trouble everyone to accommodate ; it’s too botherso."

Nuonuo put herself in their shoes and considered, realizing she was being unreasonable. How could an entire filming team under Director Sun let a small girl with no fa or attention lead them by the nose?

Zhang Ziweng was so frustrated she wanted to bite her tongue off. "Oh dear, my little princess, since Director Sun said he’s willing to wait, just let him wait, okay? Take your ti to consider. There’s no rush!"

Nuonuo stayed silent for a while longer, ultimately offering a relatively compromising solution for both sides.
