Nuonuo chuckled, but Da Bao had already scooped her up effortlessly.

"Baby, don’t underestimate your husband. Even after the baby is born, I can easily hold all three of you together."

Da Bao indeed seed at ease, carrying her into the bathroom while joking and laughing.

"Baby, starting tomorrow, I won’t be going to work."

Nuonuo was brushing her teeth, and Da Bao stood behind her, supporting her waist. As he spoke, he leaned over to lightly nibble her rosy cheek.

"Why?" This ti, it was Nuonuo’s turn to ask with a mouthful of bubbles.

"In your condition now, I need to stay ho to take care of you!"

Watching Nuonuo struggle with everyday tasks, unable to bend over or even wear shoes, made Da Bao quite anxious.

Nuonuo rinsed her mouth, getting rid of the foam. "Brother, you don’t have to stay ho to take care of ; Aunt Guan is here."

"Aunt Guan can’t be the sa as . Can she carry you?" Da Bao felt his pride was seriously hurt.

"But you can’t just stop working! There’s still over a month until the baby is born. Aren’t you afraid Little Treasure will bite you for being lazy?"

Young Master Xiao Bao is always the roughest with David. During argunts, he would sotis pretend to bite Da Bao, saying, "I’ll bite you!"

Da Bao always dismissed it, saying that barking dogs don’t bite, and Young Master’s fierce appearance was just an act.

"What’s there to fear? It’s not only becoming a dad, he’s about to beco an uncle too."

Da Bao knew Little Treasure well. Whenever he said he’d co back to take care of the little one, even if Little Treasure grumbled, he’d take over David’s work and rush him off.

Nuonuo stood up for Little Treasure, "Brother, don’t bully Little Treasure."

Da Bao took a towel, dampened it, and gently wiped her face, despite appearing rough.

"Grown up, aren’t you? I used to be the one ensuring Little Treasure wouldn’t bully you. Now it’s your turn to stand up for him?"

Once he finished cleaning her face, Da Bao again lifted her into his arms.

"Brother, I’m serious." Nuonuo didn’t feel she needed Da Bao by her side all the ti, even with her special condition. She didn’t want to burden him or the family.

Da Bao was at his wit’s end and had to clarify things.

"Silly, I ant not going back to work at the Ji Family. I’ll work from ho, hosting etings online as needed. Don’t worry, I won’t neglect my job. At this stage, I need to be with you and Baobao for peace of mind."

No wonder Da Bao was so cautious. A couple of days before, during a check-up, the doctor discreetly reminded him that the robust twins could be born anyti, urging him to watch out and rush Nuonuo to the hospital if anything unusual happened.

How could a soon-to-be father not be anxious hearing that?

Of course, to avoid worrying Nuonuo, Da Bao didn’t ntion it to her, only confiding in their parents. After discussion, they decided it was best for Da Bao to work from ho for convenience.

Learning that Da Bao was rely changing his workplace to ho, Nuonuo had no more objections.

It proved true; having Da Bao at ho made things much more convenient. As her husband, he could attend to all private matters effortlessly.

To accommodate his work, Da Bao moved his desk into the living room. With plenty of space for Nuonuo to move between the living room and the garden, Da Bao could always keep an eye on her.

One day, after lounging on the sofa for a while, Nuonuo went for a walk in the garden and soon returned with a bouquet of red roses, placing them in a vase on Da Bao’s desk.

"Be careful of the thorns!"

Although busy, Da Bao never stopped caring about his wife.

"Aunt Guan trimd them, so there are no thorns. I only brought them in and arranged them."

After saying this, Nuonuo strolled back outside. Her body was heavily burdened, and though walking far required her to support her back, she adhered to the doctor’s advice to stay active for an easier birth.

Da Bao, having worked all morning, felt weary. He rubbed his temples, following Nuonuo’s silhouette as she moved beyond the garden.

Outside the glass door, Nuonuo stood by the roses, talking to Aunt Guan, her face alight with a warm, brilliant smile. Aunt Guan handed her another bouquet, the flowers blooming vibrantly beside her face, her smile growing even warr, outshining the gorgeous roses.

When Nuonuo returned to the living room, Da Bao stood up to greet her, taking the flowers and supporting her waist, "So beautiful!"

Da Bao exclaid in admiration!

Nuonuo laughed in agreent, "Yes, I just told Aunt Guan that the roses are exceptionally bright and large this year, probably to welco our little ones!"

Da Bao pressed a finger against her lips, "I ant you’re beautiful, not the flowers!" He said before leaning down to deeply kiss her.

After the kiss, Nuonuo’s face was flushed, and she leaned against him, slightly out of breath, "Brother..."

Da Bao assud she was shy, so he lowered his head to peck her lips again but was startled by the unusual flush on her face, "Nuonuo, are you feeling unwell?"

Nuonuo clutched her stomach, nodding with difficulty, "Um... my stomach... hurts!"

Da Bao panicked imdiately!

He called for Aunt Guan and the driver in a loud voice, and amidst frantic fuss, they helped Nuonuo into the car. Half an hour later, they drove into the hospital parking lot, where doctors and nurses awaited, swiftly transferring Nuonuo onto a gurney.

Le Tong, Ji Rui, and Little Treasure arrived shortly after Nuonuo entered the delivery room.

"How is she? What did the doctor say?"

Le Tong anxiously grabbed Da Bao’s hand, asking.

"The doctor said she should be able to deliver naturally, not to worry."

Nuonuo was already thirty-eight weeks pregnant, within the normal delivery period.

"You’re not with Nuonuo?" Le Tong was surprised. Knowing Da Bao’s character, how could he calmly wait outside the delivery room?

"Nuonuo didn’t let in..." Da Bao felt quite helpless!

While the mother and son talked, the door to the delivery room opened, and a young nurse poked her head out, saying, "Congratulations, Miss Si Han has given birth to a son and a daughter, a brother and a sister!"
