Julia followed the group in front of her, observing the relationships between them and trying to understand each person’s character.

The sharkman among them seed to be the strongest, but he seldom voiced his opinion. Decisions were usually made by Chadite and Alka. He seed quite reckless and indifferent to many things.

In Julia’s view, Chadite was the second strongest. She was a human girl who cared for others’ emotions and would offer suggestions and address shortcomings within the team. Julia understood her to be gentle yet resilient.

As for Alka, the young human boy, although the weakest, he was the leader of this small team. Rumor had it that the one hunting them was Alka’s own father.

Humans are always like this, capable of doing things that bewilder ordinary people.

The boy seed to possess a certain talent, giving him a keen sense for treasure hunting, perhaps due to so innate spell. Such situations were not uncommon in her experience; at most, they were rely rare.

As for Lucilia, with whom Julia was most familiar and friendly, she had beco a soul. Her conversations with Julia had revealed that this place was not their forr holand.

Finding the way ho would clearly take so effort.

A few days of travel had allowed Julia to learn the local language and temporarily blend in with the team.

She needed to observe more before deciding whether to follow this team to find her way ho. Or perhaps she would temporarily stay with this team to familiarize herself with this world. Finding the way ho might not necessarily be a good thing; she wondered if the passage of ti had taken her enemies away.

When Alka and the others arrived at the harbor, most of the buildings had been completely destroyed. So, they had to rest in a partially collapsed ruin, at least one that offered shelter from the wind. They took out a small Magic Furnace, set it up in a corner, and then each found a place to rest.

Pororo left again for the seashore, diving into the water not only to find food but also to see if the ocean creatures had changed significantly.

Chadite resud her map drawing by the Magic Furnace, as well as the restoration of a previously found abandoned map. She had initially been reluctant to restore that abandoned map, as it was likely to make so places inaccurate and result in errors. Map errors could potentially lead to unforeseen dangers.

During this ti, as Alka wasn’t deliberately hiding anything, Julia had observed that he seed to need maps to detect locations that might hold precious items. This highlighted how important a good map was to Alka. Therefore, when it ca to her work, Chadite knew she needed to be rigorous and ticulous.

But Alka said he didn’t mind; he wanted a preliminary restoration, if only so he could be ntally prepared.

Chadite could only agree. The truth was, there was still a discrepancy between the reality of the situation and Chadite’s understanding of it. From Chadite’s perspective, Alka’s requirents for the map probably seed pitifully low.

Alka started to clean up the rubble and bones around the ruins, at least to make their resting place less dirty and ssy. After all, they were going to wait there for Chadite to complete the map drawing.

This wasn’t sothing that could be completed in a day or two. Even though Chadite had the silver ripple to help her precisely simulate the island’s details in her mind and an auto-drawing pen to assist with the sketching, this only made the process comparatively faster than usual. It would still consu a considerable amount of ti to complete.

Alka set up a periter, then comnced his day’s ditation.

Julia leaned against a distant piece of rubble, watching their actions and observing Alka’s ditation. Although her strength was suppressed in this place, her insight and past experience remained unaffected. Based on the vortex of Magic Power gathering around Alka during his ditation, and the amount that entered his body, she could gauge his cultivation speed. This cultivation speed was clearly above average, possibly even classifying him as a genius.

At this mont, Lucilia erged from Alka’s chest and floated towards the doll at his waist. As the doll transford, Lucilia began her one-hour period of daily activity. This was the only ti she could interact with the real world. She bounced over to Julia, tugging at her pant leg.

"What’s the matter, Lucilia?" Julia squatted down, placing the doll Lucilia in her hand.

The doll in her hand waved its arms and pointed outside.

"Do you want to go out?"

The doll nodded.

If Lucilia went out alone and encountered danger, she wouldn’t be able to escape. So she needed soone to accompany her. After looking around, Lucilia decided Julia was the most idle.

Julia did not refuse. Holding Lucilia, she went outside the ruins and began to stroll with the doll.

Julia couldn’t help but think, Am I just finding sothing to do? Everyone else seems so busy.

Darkness made the surroundings exceptionally silent. From within the ruins, the only sounds were the crackling of flas in the Magic Furnace and the scratching of the pen on paper. This continued until Alka finished his ditation and opened his eyes.

He glanced around, slowly moved next to Chadite, and observed her map drawing from behind.
