Listening to Sifus’s furious curses in the Soul Space, Jack felt as if it were a song of praise for himself, and he was imrsed in it.
Years of competing with Sifus for the body had exhausted him.
The more Sifus suffered, the happier Jack was.
At this mont, he certainly had to mock to his heart’s content.
He had spent much effort making Alka personally kill him.
This was a Curse ritual; such feedback could clear the soul from Alka’s body, but it would preserve the perfect physique.
This way, he would no longer have to endure the pain of competing for the body, nor suffer the Curse of the Holy Mother once more.
The manifestation of the Curse also followed a logical sequence. He had long prepared for it.
Now that he succeeded, how could he not be happy?
He slowly crouched down and shouldered Alka’s corpse.
"That illusionary fog just now truly surprised . I didn’t expect you to possess a Treasure. No wonder your power increased so quickly."
"If it weren’t for that Curse, I might have actually died at your hands. What a pity. Besides, I gained an additional Treasure! Hahaha..."
The pink mist that had lured him into a dream truly frightened him.
Allowing Alka to kill him had to be under his control. The sudden eruption of power and the pink mist, however, had completely exceeded his expectations.
He hadn’t expected Alka’s strength to have actually reached Three Spirals, and that he even possessed a Treasure.
By the looks of this Treasure, it seed more suitable for direct combat than his own flag.
What a pity. I just don’t know if this Treasure is compatible. If it’s not from the sa set, that would be truly unfortunate, he murmured, looking at the small crystal semicircle exposed on Alka’s chest.
He didn’t imdiately leave this space but instead took apart his staff.
A flag was pulled out from within.
It was the very flag that Sifus had shown in the dream—Jack’s Treasure.
He held it in his hand and infused his Magic Power into the flag.
The flag imdiately began to float, its banner dancing in the wind.
Blood-red flas appeared on it, along with the tallic sound of clashing swords, as if war cries and the shouts of a charging army echoed from it.
Once ready, he snapped his fingers.
The environnt instantly changed. The sounds of clashing swords, the dull boom of the Vibrating Stone Cannon, battle cries, and screams erupted all at once.
The previously quiet environnt instantly beca noisy.
Everywhere around him were battle scenes.
But the tide of battle was clear.
The pirates’ large ships, except for the flagship he was standing on, had all been cleared.
Many pirates had returned to the flagship and were defending it.
But those Knights were too formidable, and many had already boarded the flagship.
The captured ships nearby, along with the encircling Church vessels, continued to bombard them relentlessly.
One could still hear the muffled sound of gunfire and see pirates falling with each shot.
The pirates were on the verge of defeat; it wouldn’t be long now.
The Knight with the Sword of Love was slaughtering pirates in the crowd, each swing of his sword claiming a large number of lives.
He was like a harvesting machine.
And the old man who had previously pulled Alka and Jack into that separate space was now crouching at the ship’s prow, maintaining a strong protective Shield.
He had been conducting a ritual that shielded him from attacks. It concluded just as Jack erged.
The old man then sat at the prow, panting heavily.
As soon as Jack appeared, he attracted the gazes of almost everyone around.
Having dealt with their respective opponents, Chadite and Julia instantly saw the person carried on Jack’s shoulder.
"Alka!" Chadite shouted. Setting down his father, whom he had just rescued, he leaped toward Jack.
As he leaped into the air, Julia’s ribbon shot out, ensnaring him and pulling him back.
"Be careful! We can’t handle him. Going over there will only complicate things, and Alka might already be dead," Julia said to Chadite as he was pulled back.
Jason, watching from the crowd, silently pursed his lips at their performance.
Truth be told, their acting wasn’t very good. I should have been the one to perform.
Still too weak. Not even qualified to act.
And the Knight wielding the Sword of Love had already rushed to Jack.
"Life Gathers! United We Stand!" Jack shouted, the flas on the blood-red flag floating beside him burning fiercely.
And those pirates still resisting the Knights, or those captured but alive, all scread as they collapsed onto the deck.
Invisible blood-colored flas burned on their bodies.
These individuals, without exception, were all ’Conduits.’
Even so fallen corpses suddenly ignited.
Having just climbed aboard, carrying the corpse of a Hamrhead Sharkman, Pororo watched the body burn up.
In an instant, it turned to ashes.
Uncontrollable anger surged within him. This was a sacrificial offering he had specially prepared for his cousin’s morial, and now it was gone!
All the flas that burned gathered upon the flag and then rged into Jack’s body.
"United we stand?" Using such words to describe such a scene was a great irony.
The blood-red fla barrier blocked the Knight’s first attack.
Jack’s entire body was engulfed in blood-red flas. These flas condensed around him, forming a suit of Armor.
Even Jack’s own body appeared to grow larger.
He received a comprehensive enhancent.
Seeing this scene, the Knight holding the Sword of Love raised his sword with both hands and shouted loudly, "Holy Mother, grant strength!"
The Sword of Love blazed with golden light. This light also gathered upon the Knight, increasing his size.
Raising the sharp blade in his hand, he charged at Jack.
