Now reading: Chapter 339 - 196 Simulated Silver Threads2 from Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer, a Game novel by Drink cola or not.

Simply put, Alka could only simulate changes in his hands and legs. As for other parts, he hadn’t seen them, so there was no possibility of simulation.

"But this is a bit too impractical," Alka lanted. "The sensation of controlling these threads is vastly different from that of controlling my hands. They’re completely unmanageable."

Controlling his actual hands was rely a matter of controlling two arms, but each individual thread felt like trying to control an entire arm. The threads manifested from both his arms numbered in the hundreds, at least—a dense, overwhelming mass that was simply impossible to manage.

"You don’t necessarily have to simulate both hands completely," Lucilia, who was nearby, proposed after a mont’s thought. "You ntioned that those threads are analogous to human limbs, so why not try simulating just the scope of a finger or a palm?"

Hearing this, Alka considered it. The possibility seed quite high, so he said, "Alright, I’ll give it a try."

With that, he extended his right index finger. The liquid Mirror Surface enveloping it transford with a visual flourish into a cluster of erging Silver Threads.

Watching the Silver Threads erging from the base of his finger, Alka focused on trying to control them.

Indeed, with only the volu of threads from a single finger, they were much easier to control.

But even then, Alka could only manage to control the overall mass of threads, making them sway up, down, left, and right.

This cluster contained at least several dozen individual strands. Alka had no idea how long he would need to practice to perfectly control even this small amount.

However, if he could master their control, the potential applications were nurous, making it well worth the ti spent training.

"Can you separate and braid these threads into a few distinct strands? It might be easier to control just those few," Julia suggested, leaning against the mast as she observed the threads on Akka’s hand.

"I can try," Alka replied.

And so, everyone watched the Silver Threads on Alka’s palm, offering various ideas and suggestions.

Alka experinted with their suggestions on the spot.

The training served a dual purpose: practice and discovering new possibilities.

This continued until the dinner bell rang. Only then did Alka retract the Mirror Surface and head to the cafeteria with the others.

By the ti they finished their simple al, it was late. After chatting for a while, they all returned to their rooms to rest.

Alka was scheduled for lookout duty in the latter half of the night, so he needed to get so rest early.

Lying on his bed, he soon sank into the Dream Realm.

He awoke within his Dream Bubble, then passed directly through its mbrane into the world outside.

As usual, he began to patrol, checking the Dream Bubbles of the others on board.

Perhaps because he had gone to bed so early, his was the only Dream Bubble present; no one else was asleep yet.

He had no choice but to explore the Dream Realm a bit by himself.

Even after venturing beyond the Sea of All Life, this part of the Dream Realm wasn’t particularly lively. Aside from the characteristic colorful mists and distorted light and shadows of the Dream World, there were only so small, faint Dream Bubbles.

These Dream Bubbles were all tinged with the blue of seawater, indicating that the drears within were deep-sea fish.

He was sowhat used to it. Alka wandered, searching for any creatures native to the Dream Realm.

In such desolate stretches, Alka most often encountered arms made of light and shadow, small birds, and those peculiar eye-like monsters.

He had discovered another eye-like monster so ti ago. This ti, he had observed it more closely, subsequently docunting it in his Monster Atlas.

Among the monsters of the Dream Realm, Alka had yet to find any that could be dissected; they were all peculiar creatures that simply shattered into pieces upon defeat.

He then acquired an Eye Crystal Stone, which he integrated into his Dream World.

Huh?

Suddenly noticing sothing, Alka stopped in his tracks, a flicker of surprise going through him.

A giant Dream Bubble had appeared before him, its size nearly half that of Alka’s own.

Because Alka’s soul was stronger and his ntal fortitude more resilient than others, his Dream Bubble was generally larger than those of other people.

It was even a third larger than Julia’s, which was the biggest among their group.

The size of a Dream Bubble generally reflected an individual’s overall strength.

For example, there was a clear difference in size between Juanlu’s Dream Bubble and Julia’s.

Judging by the size of this new Dream Bubble, the drear within was likely stronger than Juanlu but weaker than the others in their group.

However, the bubble’s color remained blue, indicating it belonged to a marine creature.

Whose could it be?

Curious, Alka peeked his head inside.

...Indeed, enemies et on a narrow path.

Inside the Dream Bubble was a massive, silver, thread-ball-like monster, its tendrils flailing wildly in the dream-sea.

Who knows what it’s dreaming about.

This Sea Beast is probably stronger than Julia. The reason its Dream Bubble is relatively small for its power must be its lack of intelligence.

Its soul strength might be considerable, but its ntal capacity and intelligence are far inferior to a human’s.

For it to form a Dream Bubble this large through sheer soul strength alone was enough to confirm my assessnt of its power.

Looking at the strange Sea Beast within its Dream Bubble, Alka realized sothing. This is a rare opportunity. I can observe this Sea Beast in its dream.

That way, I’ll be able to simulate its transformations more effectively. If I can observe more details, that would be even better.

With this in mind, Alka carefully pushed his head just past the Dream Bubble’s boundary, quietly observing the Sea Beast within.
