A Blue Card flew out, exploding on its back and transforming into several chains that bound it in place.
The monster struggled frantically, its head still turned towards Akka and the others, roaring, its mouth wide open.
"This monster... was it injured by soone else?" Jason asked, sowhat uncertainly.
They all cautiously approached to get a better look at the monster. After all, Alka had used a Blue Card to bind it rather than attack, clearly intending to observe it.
Alka did indeed move closer to begin his observation.
The monster continued to struggle frantically, squirming towards them. However, its power was likely only at the Three Spirals level, and it couldn’t fully exert itself due to its incomplete lower half.
As Alka’s strength had increased, his Blue Cards had also been upgraded with higher-level inscriptions, so binding this monster was an easy task.
However, before they could get too close to the monster, it opened its mouth, and a large, dark green blob shot out like a cannonball.
Jason, who had remained vigilant, reacted quickly. He sent out an Ice Bullet that collided with the dark green substance in mid-air.
The Ice Bullet exploded. The intense Coldness froze the dark green liquid, and a lump of green ice smashed onto the ground.
It shattered into several pieces, causing the plants it struck to wither instantly.
A Silver Coin sliced out.
The monster’s head was severed at the neck, rolling aside twice.
Yet, the headless corpse continued to struggle.
"It’s still not dead even after losing its head?"
Jason was baffled. Even an undead walker shouldn’t be able to move once its head was gone.
Not unless soone had reattached its head or stitched it back on.
"It’s no ordinary undead walker," Alka said, flicking out another card—this ti, a Mirror Card.
The card sliced into the severed neck, plunged deep, and broke part of the spine. Only then did the monster finally stop moving.
Alka walked up and kicked the corpse over, revealing the monster’s front.
The monster’s chest cavity had long been hollowed out. Inside, it was filled with Black Oil pipelines, spiraling tal, and blocky stone-like structures.
Only then did Alka feel a slight sense of relief and squat down. This ti, he focused his observation on the monster’s incomplete lower half.
His gaze fell upon its completely chanized hips and legs.
This monster’s level of chanization was even greater than the previous one’s, but its power was much weaker. After all, that previous one had reached Four Spirals and was already in the Second Stage.
"These legs... they don’t look like they were damaged by soone."
After observing for so ti, Alka reached an unorthodox conclusion.
"It damaged them itself?" Pororo asked from the side.
"No, what I an is, they don’t look damaged. Rather... they look unfinished," Alka said, a note of uncertainty in his voice.
Its lower half was clearly only partially constructed. It looked as if the creators had run out of materials, or perhaps simply decided not to complete it, leaving it in this state.
Who would damage a chanical structure like this yet leave all sorts of connection ports perfectly intact, as if they were ticulously disassembled?
It was clearly left unfinished.
Yet, sothing still felt odd, though Alka couldn’t quite pinpoint what it was.
"It was released unfinished? Can you tell how long ago that was?" Chadite interjected from the side.
"Yes, it’s been several years at least. It’s certainly not a recent creation."
"So, the one who made this monster isn’t here anymore?" Jason asked upon hearing this.
Since it’s unfinished and it’s already been several years, doesn’t that an the person on this island who made this monster has already left?
Or perhaps they’re dead.
Alka shook his head; he was also unsure.
Then, a cleaver appeared in his hand. He lightly chopped, severing the monster’s waist completely.
He looked at the blood and flesh clinging to the chanical components and the connecting Black Oil pipelines.
Alka’s brows knitted together tightly.
An extrely outlandish idea began to form in his mind.
"This thing... it doesn’t look like it was attached."
Alka’s words made everyone present look puzzled. What did he an by ’not attached’?
"It’s like..." Alka furrowed his brows. He felt his idea was rather extre, but he voiced it anyway, "It’s like it *grew* there. Not attached... but grown out from it."
Everyone’s brows furrowed. Julia couldn’t help but exclaim, "Isn’t that a bit too much of an exaggeration?"
Because that completely defied their fundantal understanding of the world.
Julia, after all, had spent ti in the domains of two Divines and had even served as a guardian in the Sea of All Beings.
For flesh to sprout Spell Constructs... even for an undead, that was extraordinarily peculiar.
"Why don’t you take a closer look?" Jason suggested from the side.
The idea indeed seed outlandish.
It wasn’t just unscientific; it wasn’t magical, nor was it mystical in any known sense.
Alka wasn’t entirely certain of his own theory, so he began to dissect the creature once more.
This ti, although it was sowhat nauseating, everyone steeled themselves and watched the entire process.
As Alka dissected, he began to explain his findings.
"See this? This is its intestine. Although it’s decayed, you can still see that this tube is growing right through the middle of it, encased on all sides by the intestinal lining."
"If this were artificial, such a process would be overly complicated and offer no practical benefit. Furthermore, the internal structure of this lining is actually fused with the tube."
"The muscles here are also connected to this chanical structure. It’s as if, when it grew to this point, the flesh itself began to transform into tal."
The more Alka explained and dissected, the more his initial, outlandish idea seed to be substantiated.
