After a mont of silence, he spoke, "On the Forward Route, probably on an island outside the Isolation Gate of the Ocean of Enlightennt."
Hearing this, Alka nodded.
Then he said, "I’m also on the Forward Route. On such a route, encountering a human’s Dream Realm is very rare, so I ca in out of curiosity to take a look."
After Alka finished speaking, he saw that the man in front of him had already begun to slightly raise his hands.

Then his expression showed a hint of desolation. "The fact that I haven’t died yet, can still dream, and can feel hunger indicates my team has t with misfortune. However, the fact that I’m still alive suggests the enemy’s situation might not be good either."
So, the two ships remaining on the island belong to opposing sides?
Alka nodded to signal his understanding and motioned for him to continue speaking.

Though incredibly hard to endure, it’s very effective at preserving one’s life, ensuring survival until treatnt can be received. Our ship and the enemy’s ship were transported into the sky by so powerful Spell effect and then began to fall. That’s when I lost consciousness."
At this point, before Alka could ask, the man summarized his current predicant.
"But now, since I’m neither dead nor released from this state, it’s highly likely that both sides suffered devastating losses, or perhaps everyone perished."
That’s a very reasonable deduction, unless his team deliberately left him in this state. In the man’s view, such a possibility was almost nonexistent.
Alka nodded to indicate his understanding.
In other words, he’s currently in a state where he can feel the passage of ti and experience hunger. Yet, due to so ability his teammates possessed, his condition is fixed, his movents immobilized. It’s like a soul trapped within a physical shell. The fact that his mind hasn’t broken down already demonstrates his strong willpower—assuming he’s telling the truth, of course. However, his words did indeed match what they had seen on the island during the day. Those two ships really did look as if they had fallen from the sky, considering their shattered condition and the impact on the surrounding environnt.
"What is the na of your team? And who are your enemies?" Alka asked after a while.
The man before him didn’t hide anything and slowly replied, "The team I belong to is part of the Holy Machine Church—an excavation team under its banner called Cross Hand. As for our enemies, they are a team led by a Saint from the renegade Cult of Flesh Ascension."
Renegades... It seems the scarlet Evil Spirit I encountered last ti was also a renegade from the Holy Machine Church and had similarly ford its own Sect.
