Then, he routinely made two rounds through the surroundings of everyone’s Dream Realms. He eliminated those Dream Realm monsters that didn’t know their place. He wondered if it was just his imagination; sohow, the surroundings seed a tiny bit livelier. At least it wasn’t like the previous Dream Realm environnts, where days could pass without encountering a single Dream Realm monster. Sotis, it was even difficult to see the Flying Birds within the Dream Realm. Now, nearly every day, they could see one or two creatures trying to break through their Dream Bubbles.
He entered Lucilia’s Dream Realm, woke her, and then entered the Dream Realm’s library by himself.
As he was looking at the books, Alka suddenly had a thought. What if Lucilia eventually gets used to her doll form, creates a set of combat techniques suitable for herself, and then doesn’t want to awaken in the Dream Realm? He couldn’t just keep coming to wake Lucilia solely to enter the library and read. In that case, Lucilia wouldn’t get proper rest. Is there any way around this?
His train of thought was interrupted, and he refocused his attention on the book in his hands. I’ll think about it later, he mused. Right now, I don’t have any ideas, nor the ability to do anything about it.
「When Alka woke up, it was already the next day.」
After washing up and having breakfast, he joined everyone on deck to watch Chadite practice her Treasure’s abilities. He also offered so advice based on his experience.
With this Treasure, Chadite finally had a decent ans of long-range attack. During the day, she could gather sunlight, condensing it into a scorching ray to shoot out. At night, or when there was no sunlight, she would use the Treasure’s ability to amplify her Silver Light Spell. She would gather the amplified Silver Light in her hands and then unleash it with a palm strike, enabling dium to long-range attacks.
At this point, Alka began to understand the Ring of Light’s operating chanism a little. The light it could generate on its own was just very ordinary, soft light, possessing no special attributes. And this so-called spontaneously generated light was actually drawn from the surroundings. Even when concentrated, it still couldn’t cause harm. However, it was different when other, more unique sources of light were present. If sunlight was available, these heat-carrying rays could be gathered, providing significant assistance in combat.
Alka analyzed this using basic knowledge from his previous life. Could this thing control ultraviolet and infrared rays? After all, isn’t the ability to control sunlight to achieve such effects due to these two types of radiation? He didn’t know if Chadite could control them.
They also experinted with firelight; it similarly carried heat and could quickly ignite things upon impact. Unlike the firelight, the manipulated sunlight possessed strong penetrative properties. This seed inexplicably magical. Such penetrative power was considered an Energy Attack because its scorching effect could easily pierce both physical and Magic Shields. It counted as a very effective form of attack.
He just wondered what differences moonlight might have.
It truly was as Chadite had said: controlling light, amplifying light. Essentially, it couldn’t produce light from nothing.
As Chadite beca more proficient with this ability, she should be able to utilize more techniques.
Ti passed quickly.
Soon, it was approaching noon. The vast, cloudless sky allowed the sun to beat down fiercely upon them from directly overhead. The entire ship couldn’t help but beco oppressively hot.
Seeing the sunlight beating directly down on them, Chadite waved her hand, and the sunlight shining on the Sound of Dawn imdiately shifted. It was as if a Shield had been draped over the Sound of Dawn, plunging the entire ship into dimness. The only illumination ca from the ambient light of the surroundings. But undeniably, it instantly beca cooler.
"He’s awake!" Er’s shout ca from below.
Alka turned and tilted his head, and the group imdiately headed below. Pororo, however, did not follow. Pororo was keeping watch in the lookout post.
When they arrived at the infirmary, Simon was already sitting up, leaning against the headboard. He was curiously observing the tiny Er beside him, who was only about thirty centiters tall, and seed quite intrigued by such a small being. As they entered, they happened to hear Simon asking sothing.
"You seem... not to be a truly natural creature, do you? You have a sowhat puppet-like structure."
Er turned its head to look at him but offered no reply, instead inching slightly farther away. Hearing the door open and seeing the group enter, Er quickly shot out silk threads and swung over to land on Chadite’s shoulder.
At this, Simon’s attention also shifted to Alka and the others. Looking at them, a smile appeared on Simon’s face, and he said, "It was you who saved , wasn’t it? Thank you, thank you all."
Hearing Simon’s words, Chadite looked bewildered. "What is he saying?"
"It’s another language. Lucilia knows it, and I’ve learned a little too," Alka replied, turning his head. He then looked at Simon and said, "You’re in poor condition right now. You should rest well."
"Excuse ," Simon began, "about the one who appeared in my dream before..."
Upon hearing Simon’s words, a Mirror Surface instantly ford on Alka’s face, then appeared to shatter.
Seeing this, Simon nodded in sudden realization. So, the Magician from my dream was this young man before !
"That was ," Alka said. "On that island, besides you, there wasn’t a single living person left."
