Now reading: Chapter 400 - 216 Storm Trial3 from Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer, a Game novel by Drink cola or not.

The storm weakened slightly.

The power of the portal seed to interfere with the intensity of the storm.

"Isn’t that..." At this mont, everyone recognized it.

It was the sa passage they had gone through when leaving the Holand Sea.

This ti, they watched from the outside as the passage was torn open.

As they traveled farther from the portal, they finally saw several huge ships breaking through the waves, arriving in this stormy sea.

They were witnessing the opening of the Southern Storm Sea’s gates.

They truly encountered everything.

As they sped away, the spatial rift completely disappeared from their view. anwhile, lightning still occasionally surged into Pororo through the Lightning Rods.

Pororo’s body was covered with lightning patterns, constantly flickering and emanating a purple glow.

Water still clung to his body.

Though everyone was worried, all they could do at this mont was stabilize themselves and fend off the colossal waves that kept crashing toward them.

They could do nothing else.

...

"Chief, what’s the matter?" a mber of a strange race, possessing a human torso, a serpentine tail, and four arms, asked the person before him.

The one he addressed was of the sa race, though visibly older and more composed.

Upon hearing this, the elder of the unknown race, referred to as the chief, turned his head.

"A new batch of people has arrived."

The chief stood his ground, gazing at the spiral-shaped dark clouds at the horizon’s limit.

"Why do the clouds above that sea spiral? Such a phenonon has never occurred before."

"That’s because you are still too young. This is the Storm Trial."

"At a ti like this, in a place like this?" the young man’s voice was full of confusion.

"Perhaps it’s a desperate asure, or perhaps they are choosing to face the challenge head-on."

The two were conversing atop a mountain peak that rose from the sea.

After more than half a day of sailing, Alka and the others finally traversed the Storm Sea.

With the gales, torrential rain, and lightning receding behind them, Pororo, still clutching the two Lightning Rods, collapsed on the ship’s bow.

The two iron rods had completely fused to his hands, and his body was covered in charred marks.

His entire form was unrecognizable.

Just as everyone tried to assist him, they found themselves unable to get close, repelled by a powerful force. They could only watch helplessly.

Ignoring their fatigue, they all gathered around, their brows furrowed as they observed Pororo’s injuries.

Several ribbons flew over and wrapped around Pororo. Following Julia’s clear singing, pale green light dots quickly surged into Pororo’s body through the ribbons.

However, this only healed the cracked parts of his skin, offering no relief for the severe burns.

Pororo remained collapsed on the deck, his life hanging precariously in the balance.

Alka extended his hands and touched the Lightning Rods that had completely fused to Pororo’s hands. With a tap, the two Lightning Rods dissipated into golden light dots, vanishing into the air.

Pororo’s hands were completely devoid of skin, leaving only raw flesh marked with significant charring.

Even now, electrical arcs occasionally flashed across his body.

"I can’t do anything about his other injuries," Julia said.

"What’s his condition now? Is his life in danger?" Alka hurriedly asked.

As long as his life isn’t in danger, they can find ways to treat these injuries, he thought.

Julia nodded, "Though he’s in a terrible state, his constitution is very strong. At least for now, his life isn’t in imdiate danger."

She could feel the Life Force within him surging powerfully, and his soul remained intact.

But that was the limit of what Julia could sense.

"...That’s good," Alka said, nodding.

If all else failed, they had one last resort—the Spell that had once placed Simon in a state of Stagnation. As a crew mber, Simon also knew this Spell, though he wasn’t very proficient with it. But recently, Jason and Julia had both learned it. That was their final safety net.

Alka breathed a slight sigh of relief, then together with the others, they carefully carried Pororo into the infirmary.

Just then, an alarm sounded from the lookout room.

Upon hearing the sound, Alka shot everyone a look, urging them to hurry.

He swiftly entered the Dream Death God state and moved to the ship’s edge.

The situation was urgent; if there was danger, Alka knew he would have to exert his fullest power.

He heard One’s voice in his ear.

"Underwater, off the starboard bow."

Upon hearing this, Alka’s figure imdiately vanished and reappeared at the ship’s bow.

He leaned over to look down.

He saw a young girl with fine scales on her face, curiously observing the ship.

Upon seeing Alka appear, she widened her eyes, a hint of fear in her pupils, and couldn’t help but retreat.

The hood on Alka’s head disappeared, revealing his Mirror Surface.

"Who are you? Why are you here?" Alka asked vigilantly, as the person before him seed to belong to an intelligent race.

Seeing that Alka seed able to communicate, she began speaking, "@:~&%"

Once again, the words were incomprehensible. Alka truly didn’t understand this ti, as he had never heard such a language before.

Fortunately, Lucilia joined him then, speaking to the unknown being below in the sa unintelligible language.

After they conversed for a while, Lucilia turned to Alka and said, "She says she was summoned here because soone on the ship needs help. It is the Ocean’s will."

Upon hearing this, Alka imdiately thought of Pororo; only Pororo fit that description right now. But the timing was too coincidental. They had just left the Storm Sea, and Pororo had just been in grave danger, only to imdiately encounter soone who could help him. Still, ti was of the essence. This wasn’t the ti to dwell on such things.

"Tell her to co up," Alka instructed Lucilia. "But warn her first: no dangerous moves, or she’ll face dire consequences."

The priority now was to treat Pororo; everything else could wait.
