They recalled being suddenly transported to another place back then, also after reciting a secret phrase.
However, that void was likely underground, not in so so-called Superimposed Space.
The inscription about this treasure clearly stated that one must speak the secret phrase to obtain it.
This phrase was obviously the key to activating the ruins.
So, the question is, what could the secret phrase be? Could it be as simple as saying a na, like with the previous temple?
Seeing Chadite and the others still preparing to continue digging, Alka imdiately spoke up, "Wait."
Upon hearing this, everyone turned to look at him.
Alka looked at Lucilia, thought for a mont, and said, "Lucilia, in a mont, translate the words I say into the language of this island."
Everyone understood what Alka intended to do upon hearing this.
"You intend to activate these ruins? Is that okay?" Chadite inquired from the side.
Alka nodded. "Don’t worry."
Hearing Alka’s reassurance, they said no more.
Lucilia patted the dirt off her body and jumped onto Alka’s shoulder. "Go ahead."
"Vastva," Alka began.
As he spoke, Lucilia quickly translated his word, but it clearly had no effect.
"Quadrants of God."
Useless.
"Vita."
Useless.
"Sapphire Temple."
Still useless.
...
The two of them continued in this manner, one suggesting a phrase and the other translating. They tried all sorts of words and even began to combine them.
Alka’s throat was becoming parched, but the ruins remained motionless.
Frowning, he stared at the ruins before him, lost in thought.
"Perhaps we should continue digging," Chadite consoled from the side.
But Alka worried that even if they dug further and found more information, the secret phrase might still elude them.
It was clear that the information obtained solely from the ruins wasn’t enough to complete the puzzle of the treasure, especially this final piece. One needed a truly profound understanding of the treasure to unlock such further steps. Alka didn’t hold out much hope for just researching the ruins.
He pondered for a mont, then spoke again.
"The Place of the Great Tutor Vita."
Lucilia translated the words again.
"It’s working!" Julia, who had been waiting nearby, imdiately exclaid.
The Magic Power around them was rising.
This ti, no ripple spread out. Instead, Alka and the others standing on the ruins vanished instantly.
A wave of dizziness and a sensation of weightlessness washed over them as they landed on solid ground.
The surrounding environnt had changed after a mont of darkness.
A faint glow clung to the surrounding walls, illuminating the entire space and allowing everyone to clearly see their surroundings.
Alka turned his head to look around.
This was a rectangular space that seed quite large.
The walls were etched with very regular patterns from which this light emanated.
Lining the walls on both sides were various pieces of equipnt and tables, upon which lay so unfamiliar instrunts.
Various papers were stuck to the walls. The area seed sowhat cluttered but was exceptionally well-preserved.
Alka’s gaze was imdiately drawn to the far end of the space, where a blue-outlined object lay amidst a jumble of items on a table against the wall.
It was placed casually on the table, looking no different from the other instrunts nearby.
Pororo reached out and touched a piece of paper on the wall.
As he made contact, the paper instantly turned to ash and vanished into the air.
Seeing this, Pororo’s hand froze mid-air.
"Too much ti has passed here," Julia remarked, observing their surroundings. "Even without dust, the relentless passage of ti still brings about decay."
The fresh air that had rushed in with their arrival, along with the subtle disturbances caused by their breathing, was already causing so of the paper items on the tables and walls to fray and dissipate.
"Everyone, don’t move," Lucilia said, then slipped into the shadows. "Let docunt this. Every bit we can capture is sothing saved."
She hoped this would minimize her disturbance to the fragile environnt.
The others stood motionless, almost holding their breath.
Lucilia gently erged from the shadows and began to docunt the papers on the walls that hadn’t completely disintegrated.
There were also many sheets on the tables. Unfortunately, most of these papers were stacked.
In this situation, they dared not touch them and could only examine the ones on top.
These papers began to slowly disintegrate; the airflow was already causing them to crumble.
Lucilia could only try her best to commit what she saw to mory.
This continued until all the papers that had once recorded information had completely turned to dust, vanishing without a trace.
"I wonder how much ti has passed here for things to be in this state," Julia comnted from the side, sensing the nature of this sealed space. "All this air rushed in with us when we entered."
The group began to move around the space.
Alka looked at the unfamiliar instrunts on a nearby table. He gently touched one, and it imdiately crumbled into fragnts, scattering across the tabletop.
The disturbance also caused the table itself to begin collapsing.
Witnessing this, everyone froze involuntarily again.
"It’s alright." Alka waved his hand. "These instrunts were already so fragile. It wouldn’t have mattered if they broke or not; they’re useless in this state."
