"My na is Rak, an employee of the Golden Trout Comrce Association. Our president would like to et you all."
With that, the man raised his head and smiled at Alka and the others, asking, "Would you grant us the honor of your presence?"
Hearing this, Alka slightly narrowed his eyes.
The people next to him, Chadite and others, also turned their gaze towards Alka, waiting for his decision.
Thinking back, the only ti they had encountered this caravan was last night.
At that ti, Alka could clearly sense that there were two people in this rchant ship’s retinue who were more powerful than them.
The others posed no threat.
So should they go?
Alka couldn’t help but ponder.
The main issue was that he didn’t understand the motive behind the president’s invitation. Could it be that their identities were exposed? After all, if they really managed to co out of the Four Divine Seas, they must possess a Treasure. Given their current strength, holding a Treasure is inherently dangerous and far from safe. But then again, if this president wanted to harm them, such an overt invitation might just be counterproductive. Refusing wouldn’t do any good either.
He then nodded.
"No problem, lead the way."
Saying that, Alka turned his head to look at his teammates.
"We’ll split up. Simon, Pororo, and Chadite, you three co with . The rest can wait back at the ship."
Upon hearing Alka’s words, the group furrowed their brows but did not refuse, simply nodding before splitting into two teams.
Julia and the others walked towards the port.
Chadite, Simon, and Pororo followed behind Alka.
"Then please follow , esteed guests. The location is in this small town." Rak specifically ntioned the location of the eting to reassure Alka and his companions.
If the banquet were on a rchant ship, Alka might have needed to consider it more carefully.
Alka and the others followed the Golden Trout Comrce Association mber nad Rak.
"Did we et yesterday?" Alka suddenly asked.
Rak, walking in front, slightly turned his head, smiled, nodded, and said, "Yes, we t at the town’s entrance yesterday. Leading the group at that ti was our president; it was then he decided he wanted to et you."
"Oh, so that was your president," Alka replied, as if suddenly understanding.
He was sowhat sure that when the rchant ship’s captain encountered them, he had seen sothing that caught his attention.
Then he asked, "He’s certainly a person of remarkable bearing. Is the ship docked at the port your comrce association’s rchant ship?"
Rak nodded.
"Yes, the Golden Trout is our comrce association’s rchant ship and also serves as our office. We mainly conduct trade around the Broken Island Chain."
Broken Island Chain...
Alka hadn’t heard of this term, nor had he learned its aning from anyone’s Dream Realm. But he would find out tonight. Still, he realized he knew too little about the common knowledge of the Endless Sea. It’s challenging to obtain intelligence in the Dream Realm. Acquiring information you’re completely unaware of is difficult. After all, if you ask too broadly, people in the Dream Realm won’t answer; you have to ask very specifically.
As they chatted, they arrived at a large, triangular house.
"We’re here, everyone. Please co in."
At the house’s entrance, two guards in Soft Armor stood on each side. From their race, it was clear they were not island residents.
They were ordinary humans.
Pushing the door open, they went inside.
Upon entering, they found the place strikingly out of sync with the rest of the town. It was too bright inside.
The town used candles made from so kind of fish oil for lighting. Though they burned for a long ti, the fla wasn’t very bright.
But inside this room, the light ca from nurous Crystal Balls floating in the air, much like the Lighting Stones used long ago.
However, the emitted light carried a trace of warmth, making the entire room feel sowhat warm.
A long table was set in the center of the room. The captain they had t earlier was seated there, smiling as Alka and his companions arrived.
The table was long enough to accommodate more than ten people, and it was fully set with tableware.
"Please, have a seat, everyone. I hope you don’t mind my sudden invitation, but I am delighted that you chose to accept."
As the comrce association president approached them, speaking with a smile, Alka nodded and returned a polite smile.
Although it was indeed sowhat sudden, both the manner of the invitation and the president’s current deanor showed Alka and his companions considerable respect and courtesy.
After all, Alka knew the man before him had definitely reached the Third Stage of power. He was far stronger than they were.
The comrce association president approached, crossed his arms before his chest, and bowed.
Seeing this gesture, Alka paused for a mont but quickly reacted, crossing his arms in the sa manner.
Chadite did likewise, but Pororo and Simon used different salutations.
"My na is Balazs, Balazs the Traveler, president of the Golden Trout Comrce Association. It’s a pleasure to et you all."
"I’m Alka, leader of the Compass Eye Treasure Hunting Team. And these are my team mbers."
