"Are you going to... eat it?" Juanlu asked, sowhat puzzled.
The Crystal Dragon nodded repeatedly.
Looking at the fish encased in a layer of hard crystal in his arms, Juanlu scratched his head in confusion. How is this going to work?
Jason ca up, reached out, and knocked on the crystal shell. It imdiately spiderwebbed with cracks before shattering.
The shattered Crystal Plates turned into faint light and disappeared.
This is more like it, Juanlu thought. Turning towards the dining room, he took out the Hourglass used to check the ti. "It’s almost evening. Let’s prepare it all together."

Night fell. Alka returned to his room and sank into the Dream Realm.
When he opened his eyes again, he was already in the Dream World.
"Dad, you’re here," Xiang said, grinning as she floated in the sky.
Alka nodded. "Co out with for a stroll." Then, he took Xiang and flew out, breaking through the mbrane of the Dream Bubble.
Since he had gone to sleep relatively late tonight, everyone’s Dream Bubbles had already appeared in the Dream World.
There were still so oblivious dream creatures attempting to break the Dream Bubbles’ mbranes.
Alka glanced at their strength, then turned to Xiang, who was sitting on his shoulder. "Xiang, I’ll leave these dream creatures to you."
"No problem! Leave it to ! Puppet Knight Order, attack!" Xiang said, then imdiately flew off, a faint pink mist emanating from her body.
When the pink mist dissipated, her size had changed to that of a normal child. In her hands appeared two pistol-shaped Vibrating Stone Guns. Aiming at the dream creatures on the Dream Bubbles, she pulled the triggers.
Bullet after bullet, ford from light and shadow, fired in a crazed, fully automatic barrage.
The dream creatures that had been working hard to destroy the Dream Bubbles were popped one by one, like balloons.
At this mont, Alka’s attention had already shifted elsewhere. He looked towards a nearby cluster of Dream Bubbles behind him. That was the direction of Balazs and their ship. They weren’t far apart in the waking world, so naturally, they could also see each other in the Dream World.
Alka’s eyes suddenly changed. He looked even further into the distance, where he once again saw a cluster of Dream Bubbles, like those ford by a settlent of Intelligent Life. It seed they were passing the periphery of so Island. However, judging by the current ti and distance, it clearly wasn’t their intended target, so Alka didn’t waste ti going over.
Floating in place, a Mirror Surface appeared on his face. The image within it began to distort, and a giant serpent ford of white mist materialized in the Mirror Surface. Alka’s head instantly transford into that of a snake—a head ford of clouds, with bright yellow eyes like the sun. He opened his mouth, and a forked tongue flicked out.
He was mimicking the colossal cloud serpent he had previously seen in the Dream World of Southern Cross Island. That was the strongest dream creature he had ever encountered, one whose true power he couldn’t fathom. This naturally compelled him to try and mimic it.
During his ti at Southern Cross Island, although he had never left his own Dream Bubble in the Dream Realm, he had been continuously observing through the transparent bubble mbrane. That cloud serpent rarely moved in the Dream World; its most significant action was circling twice, as if turning over in its sleep. He had never witnessed it feeding. This ant Alka could observe very little, mostly just its appearance.
The snake tongue flicked, making PUFFING sounds, as the snake head on Alka’s face shattered like a mirror.
It’s no use, Alka thought. I didn’t gain any significant strength, nor did I acquire any special abilities. He hadn’t observed any special abilities, so at most, he could only mimic its form. Even that mimicry could only replicate its appearance, perhaps accompanied by so of its unique aura.
Alka sighed. Recently, in the Dream World, he had been continually exploring the areas around the Dream Bubbles. His primary aim was to find a powerful dream creature to mimic. As his strength grew, the Dream Death God could no longer keep up. Even mimicking its appearance only provided Alka with new attack thods; fundantally, there wasn’t much change. Unless he could find a fiercer, more formidable dream creature. But there were none. Most were on par with the Dream Death God or the Shadow Giant. Even these sa-level creatures lacked special abilities like the Dream Death God’s.
Such dream creatures are indeed rare and elusive, Alka mused. If only there were stronger individuals of the Dream Death God. He was, after all, quite satisfied with the Dream Death God.
Thoughts aside, once Xiang had eliminated all the dream creatures around everyone’s Dream Bubbles, Alka took her and continued flying into the distance. The invisible ripples he used for detection extended continuously around him. However, his target for exploration this ti wasn’t Dream Bubbles, but powerful individual dream entities. This exploration yielded minimal results, though, often only providing feedback on strange entities.
Finally, Alka set the detection paraters to only report entities stronger than the Dream Death God.
After that, he received no further responses.
