A sturdy Superimposed Space.
All the people who had disappeared from the room arrived here. As soon as the soldiers erged, they surrounded the general, protecting him.
When Alka and the others ca in, they looked a little panicked, seemingly wondering why they had ended up here.
It was also Balazs’s first ti in the Superimposed Space.
This made everyone present appear sowhat unsettled.
They looked toward the center of the Superimposed Space, where various gold and silver treasures were piled high. All sorts of precious Gemstones and gold coins were stacked there, along with a variety of valuable ornants.
Is this Klian’s lifelong accumulation? Balazs muttered to himself as he gazed at the vast amount of treasure.
Bear in mind, Klian had beco famous and then died in just five years. In those five years, aside from necessary expenses and sharing with his subordinates, he had sohow personally accumulated such an abundance of wealth.
The group gained a new understanding of the pirate’s ruthlessness. Without insane plundering, how could one possibly achieve such wealth?
The general pushed away the soldiers encircling him and walked towards the pile of treasure. His eyes showed no greed; instead, they kept moving, as if searching for sothing, and he appeared sowhat urgent.
Alka walked up and reached into the treasure pile, letting heaps of coins slide through his palm. Among them, a special coin hidden within the pile disappeared as the coins fell.
Apart from Alka, the chamber mbers Balazs had brought, as well as Jason, did the sa, unable to resist touching the treasure as if verifying its authenticity.
Though they knew in their hearts these treasures had nothing to do with them. But the treasure was too enticing.
The general didn’t mind at all. He completely disregarded their touches. He rely bent down slightly, taking out a badge-like item from the pile and examining it carefully.
"These treasures aren’t just what he plundered," he chuckled lightly and said.
Although he didn’t finish his sentence, those who had heard his account of the Klian family could understand.
It was surely hidden at the ti of exile, and stashing so treasure in a place with magical power wasn’t difficult.
Realizing these treasures were intertwined with the assets of an exiled royal family made it sowhat easier to accept.
As for why they weren’t used? Those who exiled them weren’t dead.
Alka clapped his hands and tossed everything in his grip back into the treasure pile. He turned to the general and said, "Now I’ve helped you find his treasure. As agreed, you can let us go, right?"
The general’s face was serious and expressionless. He rely turned and locked eyes with Alka.
The atmosphere within the Superimposed Space grew heavy. Even the chamber mbers who were fixated on the wealth quietly stepped back behind Balazs.
"I admire you," the general said. "Do you have any thoughts of working under ? I also know many places that might be hiding treasure. You can still search for treasure under my command."
Alka shook his head. "Though we’re a Treasure Hunting Team, freedom definitely outweighs treasure hunting."
Upon hearing this, the general silently looked at Alka before him and raised his hand with a gentle wave.
Suddenly, imnse pressure descended, and the group was instantly immobilized where they stood, unable to move. His actions clearly conveyed his answer.
"That’s truly a sha," the general said. "It ans you don’t understand yet. If you’d learn more, you might be willing." Then he gently gestured with his hand. "Pack these things up."
"You’re breaking your promise!" Alka shouted, his eyes wide with anger as he glared at him.
The general glanced at Alka, completely ignoring his outburst.
As for Balazs, he seed to have given up and stopped resisting from the mont the general arrived.
"Balazs, don’t you have anything to say?" Alka asked, looking at Balazs.
Balazs wore a helpless expression and said heavily, "Perhaps you don’t know. Though he’s a general, he’s no different from a King. What am I supposed to do?"
He had even abandoned the thought of escape.
He’d worked hard here for over a decade, and all his wealth was here.
Where could he run to?
Abandon all of this?
Impossible.
Rebel by himself? Forget it. They weren’t even on the sa level. He couldn’t even move a finger right now, only turn his head and speak.
Seeing that Balazs had completely given up, Alka said no more. The reason he had asked was to find out if Balazs had any intention of trying to escape. After all, escaping posed an absolute risk to their lives.
Witnessing Alka’s behavior, the general chuckled lightly and focused on searching for sothing among the treasures.
anwhile, Alka slightly turned his head and spoke to those behind him, "I’m sorry. It was my decision that cost you your freedom."
"Forget it, don’t bla yourself."
"Why not agree? It’s better than dying."
"I’d rather die than live without freedom."
"..."
Everyone voiced their opinions, one after another. The small argunts and discussions among the group could be heard by everyone else in the Superimposed Space.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, Alka opened his mouth and said, "Sivsawatnali."
The instant the secret phrase was uttered backwards, the general imdiately turned his head.
Anomalous Magic Power fluctuations appeared around them, exceedingly visible within the confined space.
