Chadite, like Alka, did not choose to jump directly to the fourth layer but climbed slowly upward from the first layer. After experiencing a few layers, she roughly understood the current chanism.

Covered in wounds, dragging her blood-soaked and exhausted body, she successfully pushed open the door to the fourth layer. As she pushed the door open, the bloodstains, exhaustion, and all her wounds vanished completely, leaving her refreshed.

A stone platform appeared before her. Opposite the stone platform stood a middle-aged woman in relatively tight-fitting clothing. She calmly looked at Chadite and repeated the sa explanation Alka had heard, detailing the special chanism. The difference was that Chadite triggered this chanism on the fourth layer, while Alka had triggered it on the fifth. This was because Chadite’s strength had only just reached the Third Stage; she hadn’t begun to improve further within the Third Stage, still remaining at the level of Ten Spirals. And the difficulty of the fourth layer was Ten Spirals.

"Trial Taker, attack . Let see what you’re capable of." The middle-aged female instructor beckoned to Chadite with a finger. Compared to the male instructor, this female instructor was much more direct. It was clear they were not the sa individual.

"I’m coming," Chadite said, as the Ring of Light appeared on her forehead. A faint light cloaked her body. Then, she reached out fiercely.

The entire stone platform environnt plunged into pure darkness. In an instant, Chadite vanished. The light effect that usually accompanied her movents also disappeared in this pitch-black environnt.

Moving with incredible speed, Chadite appeared at the female instructor’s side and executed a whip kick, aiming directly at the instructor’s head with great force.

Although the female instructor wasn’t as fast, she raised her right hand the instant Chadite kicked, blocking the attack. She then seized Chadite’s leg with both hands and dragged her forward. The instant Chadite was pulled close, the instructor thrust out a fierce shoulder bump. Chadite crossed her arms to block the blow, but its force penetrated her guard and struck her chest. She couldn’t help but let out a muffled groan.

She was sent flying backward, slamming onto the ground and rolling several tis before coming to a stop.

"You seem very confident," the instructor observed. "Confident that in this utter darkness, I won’t be able to counter your speed."

"How... *cough*... did you do that?" Chadite clutched her chest, coughing as she stood up and wiped blood from the corner of her mouth.

In this pitch-black region, unless one possessed a special Spell with extrely high priority, it would undoubtedly be impossible to see anything.

"Use your heart, not your eyes," the instructor spoke like an enlightened sage, hands behind her back and eyes closed. She appeared sowhat aloof. "Continue attacking."

Hearing this, Chadite took several deep breaths and stood up again, then launched another attack. This ti, Chadite’s attack wasn’t as reckless; she was more cautious and didn’t leave herself without an escape route. Thanks to the extre speed granted by the Ring of Light, she had a greater margin for error and attacked the instructor from all directions. She occasionally interspersed her attacks with beams of concentrated light. Her movents seed fluid and seamless.

However, the instructor blocked all these attacks. In this pitch-black environnt, the instructor, with her eyes closed, relied solely on so unknown form of perception to fend off Chadite’s attacks, which were accelerated by the Ring of Light. And she did so while still maintaining her strength at the level of Ten Spirals, without the slightest increase.

The most terrifying part was that Chadite realized the instructor had only used three types of Spells: one to increase her attack speed, one to harden her defenses, and one that added a powerful impact to her offensive techniques.Chadite knew Spells that could increase attack speed and ones that could create a powerful impact—or at least similar ones. But she couldn’t possibly apply them with such skill or ticulous control. The instructor had used only these three basic Spells to block Chadite’s attacks, which were enhanced by her Treasure. This left Chadite feeling sowhat frustrated.

"Alright, stop."

Hearing this, Chadite leaped back, landing a few ters away, and relaxed her fists. Light returned, and the surroundings reverted to their normal state.

"Very good. Your attacks are sharp and decisive. Your use of the Treasure is also very skillful, integrating smoothly into your own combat style. That’s excellent."

"But your attacks are too aggressive, and that’s not good. You only have one life; when necessary, always leave yourself an escape route when you attack."

"Always remain vigilant and maintain due humility. You should go all out against every enemy, but you must also deal with them cautiously."

"However, before any of that, you need to learn to see with your heart."

Then she said, "This ti, I will attack. First, close your eyes."

Chadite closed her eyes as instructed.

"Use your detection abilities to avoid my attacks without relying on your sight."

Then, one Magic Bullet after another shot out. The instructor intentionally controlled the speed and angle of her attacks.

This sustained assault continued for nearly three hours. By the end, Chadite was bruised all over and kneeling on one knee, her exposed arms covered in dark contusions. These were all from impacts where she had failed to dodge the Magic Bullets. Fortunately, all the Magic Bullet attacks were purely concussive, their offensive power reduced to a minimum. It was like being hit by a rubber ball.

"This session ends here. Rember what I’ve taught you: find that feeling of seeing with your heart."
