Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer Chapter 613 - 287: Origins of Oneself/Desperate Rescue2
That’s the only way.
Everyone quickly sprang into action.
Matilda and Julia swiftly established the ritual’s process: the inscription of the Spell, the application of mystical arts, and the selection of strange materials.
They even plucked so of Alka’s hair.
Through Spells and patterns, along with mystical soul-chants, the two successfully signed the Soul Link contract.
An invisible thread connected them.
This contract was derived from the one Lucilia had previously signed with Alka, allowing her to freely enter Alka’s body and even stay with his soul with his consent.
"Are you ready? I am going to use Deep Sleep on you both," Julia said, looking at the two of them.
"Bring it on."
"No problem."
Hearing their responses, Julia said no more. Two Runes appeared in her hands and were imprinted on their bodies.
A pale pink fog wafted out.
The two quickly closed their eyes and fell into a Deep Sleep.
"Phew... now we can only wait for good news from them."
Everyone stood silently around.
"ROAR!" At that mont, a dragon’s roar suddenly echoed from the stern.
"Ulu Liwus is awake." Hearing the roar, Jason imdiately turned his head towards the stern.
He then felt a massive force feed back into him as a crystal shell enveloped him. He quickly withdrew his Magic Power, swiftly halting the transformation.
The sudden surge in power almost caught him off guard.
"I’ll go check it out," Jason said, and everyone nodded, watching him quickly run towards the stern.
Gazing at the sea’s surface, Simon couldn’t help but remark, "Things are really piling up. What exactly has Alka encountered in the dream?"
Moreover, the timing of the Crystal Dragon’s awakening seed too coincidental.
They worried that Alka’s condition might have affected the Crystal Dragon’s growth, potentially harming her.
Hearing this, Julia glanced at the two who had already fallen into Deep Sleep. "It’s definitely not a trivial matter; the surrounding environnt has changed."
"What kind of change?" Juanlu asked curiously.
"It’s beco... better."
This statent puzzled everyone.
Clearly, this didn’t quite align with the situation they were facing.
anwhile, Alka found himself in his own world, completely buried in snow.
The illusion beside him was also buried in a snowdrift, only its antlers protruding from the snowy peak, faintly glowing.
The Gold and Silver Energy within the Crystal Pillar continued to transform into specks of Starlight, drifting down from the sky towards Alka’s location.
Alka’s spirit was now completely imrsed in sorrow, struggling within an Ocean of grief and sorrow.
He felt as if he were drowning in this Ocean of grief and sorrow, desperately gasping for breath, trying to escape.
A subtle influx of Energy allowed him to steady himself. For now, at least, his state stabilized as the pulling force within the Ocean was counteracted.
Amidst his struggles, he gazed upon the Sea of Sorrow that trapped him.
He watched the waves on the sea and observed his reflection in the water.
He seed to see more.
He was temporarily connected to the world, linked with this broken, nearly dying world.
He and the world... shared an empathy.
This natural ability ca from the Natural Essence.
This amplified certain emotions within Alka, causing things hidden deep inside him to surface.
In this Ocean brimming with emotions, nothing could remain concealed; everything would be flushed out, magnified, and felt.
I want to know... why did I co here... how did I get here? I want to go ho... but not really. I’m a little reluctant to leave Chadite, reluctant to leave Lucilia, reluctant to leave my companions on the ship. I wish... I could go back ho, even if just for a look...
The people here cared for him; he already had ties to this world.
But he had, after all, been born, grown up, and lived in his previous world.
Even if he couldn’t return, he just wanted to see it.
This thought had long been buried, even extinguished.
Reason told Alka it was rely a delusion, without any hope.
But the arrival of Copper Hamr had rekindled this hope in his heart.
This thought, once again kindled within him, burned quietly. Even buried deep down, it could not be extinguished.
After all, there are other worlds, aren’t there? I’m an outsider, just like Copper Hamr; it’s just that only my soul ca here.
His emotions, and his current connection to the world, made him begin to reflect on his entire life up to this mont.
The Ocean suddenly grew calm; the Sea of Sorrow, however, still subrged Alka.
But Alka’s attention had already drifted elsewhere.
From the reflection on the sea’s surface, he saw everything before him.
His dream experiences... exploring Vastva... the journey along their advancing route... the storm encountered upon leaving the Holand Sea...
The sea’s surface was projecting his experiences, extending backward into the past.
It continued until Golden Wheat Island... his soul Cursed by the Silver Coin, the mont of Alka’s death and subsequent awakening.
At that very mont, the reflection on the sea surface forked, splitting into two unequal paths.
One path showed the true Alka, exploring and recording sothing in a manual.
The other also showed him: his soul wandering in the darkness.
Alka had already chosen the direction he wanted to see.
