"Speaking of which, it seems a new generation has just matured. A new generation for a typical human family takes around twenty to thirty years."
"Do you know anything about this family?" Jason asked from the side.
The Triangular Construct considered this. If anyone else had asked, it might not have spoken; after all, it was a highly intelligent entity. It knew that private information shouldn't be readily shared, but Alka and his companions were different. These so-called families could only be considered ordinary Trial Takers; they hadn't even attained formal qualification. But Alka and his companions were different; each was a formal Trial Taker, capable of entering Challenge Mode.
"I can understand that. If I were to settle down and have descendants in the Endless Sea, I might also let my descendants venture into the Tower of Trial," Jason nodded as he spoke.
"Following an instructor really allows you to learn a lot; they are truly invaluable teachers." Chadite genuinely respected her instructor. She reportedly already addressed her instructor as 'Teacher'.
Listening to everyone's conversation, the Triangular Construct quietly stated, "Not everyone can receive guidance from an instructor."
Upon hearing this, everyone turned their heads, looking at it in surprise. Was there really a difference? After all, each of them would receive guidance from an instructor once they reached the appropriate level, without exception.
The construct observed them. To think they've been here so long and still don't seem to know so of the most basic rules. Then again, they don't really need to know these things.
A faint blue light shimred on its body as it explained, "You should know that without a formal mark, or unless you're individuals with special privileges like yourselves, you won't et an instructor. The only exception is if certain Trial Takers demonstrate truly exceptional potential; only then might they attract an instructor's favor and receive guidance."
Understanding dawned on everyone, and they nodded. So that was the reason. They hadn't realized, likely because Alka had given them the mark of the Dream Kings early on. Or perhaps it was because most of them were Saints of the Divine.
"Haven't any Church mbers of the Four Divinities undergone trials all this ti?" Pororo asked curiously.
Hearing this, Alka and the others also found it strange, their expressions showing confusion. Seeing their puzzled looks, Simon, who was standing aside, was stunned and couldn't help but say, "You... you don't actually think becoming a Saint is easy, do you?"
Among those present, only Lucilia and Jason weren't Saints of the Divine. The rest were. This was, of course, excluding Julia, who had forsaken the Seed of Life, though she had undeniably been one before.
"Isn't it?" Chadite asked quizzically.
"Certainly not! It's an incredibly difficult thing to achieve." Simon suddenly rembered what kind of monsters his companions were and couldn't help but sigh. He recalled that he himself had only beco a Saint later, on that island, after Alka and the others rescued him from the ti-stasis and he unexpectedly received a Treasure. Only then did he gain the attention of a Divine and beco a Saint. Before that, he had rely been an ordinary Church mber, not like these people before him, who were practically born Saints. Thinking about this, he sighed again. He was really just making himself feel inadequate.
"By the way, my earlier question still hasn't been answered," Jason remarked.
"I don't know..." the Triangular Construct replied, sounding puzzled. "I'm just a construct, after all. I've never been outside; what could you expect to know about these human families?"
"However," it added briefly, "they've at least been polite on this island. They're always respectful during their visits and even help clear out those elent-like creatures on the island."
"They've already landed on the island and are heading straight for the port. They haven't discovered the hidden location of the Sound of Dawn," Lucilia said.
Indeed, sounds could already be heard from not far off. The chaotic sounds of many footsteps approached. The docking of three ships ant a large number of people had co ashore.
Before long, they saw a group of people erging from the ruins of the periter wall. These individuals wore rather ornate, form-fitting robes, embroidered with various patterns in blue and silver. However, most of them had serpent symbols on their attire.
Furthermore, far fewer people approached than they had expected. Only about six individuals ca forward; the rest remained at the entrance to the ruins. Those who remained behind wore relatively light Soft Armor, and their weapons indicated they were rely guards.
The approaching individuals glanced at Alka and his group, who were already near the Tower of Trial, and seed sowhat surprised.
