The sea suddenly plunged into darkness.

A blaze of lights emanated from the island ahead, and two gigantic beams of light abruptly shot upwards, piercing the sky. Those beams of light were visible from afar. It must have been the light from two Lighthouses, guiding the ships navigating the night.

Looking across the scene, Gemini Island was structured in a sowhat peculiar manner. It is hard to imagine such an island existing in nature. It is composed of two islands that are nearly joined together. The entire island is similar to a fairly symtrical circle, split in two down the middle, which also features a circular cavity in the center. This results in a straight waterway that bisects the whole island, with a massive circular inland sea at its center. This inland sea serves as a shared harbor for the two islands.

The direction they faced was the side leading out to sea. All the ships were heading in one direction, sailing out from the opening before them. No ships were seen moving in the opposite direction. Judging from the number of ships sailing through this waterway, there were indeed many vessels around. It looked as though to dock at the Island, they would have to sail around to the other side and enter through the other entrance, then stop at the central inland sea harbor.

A small vessel approached, its coloring sowhat unusual. The entire ship was colored in grayish-black, and when it approached, everyone realized it was not actually painted; the entire ship was made from this material, as it was an iron ship. Moreover, its style was exceptionally unique, with a very sharp bow and no superstructure at the fore or aft. There was only a command tower in the middle of the ship.

Seeing this design, Alka couldn't help but recall the past. The ships of the forr world were strikingly similar to this one.

A flag fluttered atop the ship, clearly displaying a gear emblem. This was a ship from the Holy Machine Church.

A sowhat piercing alarm sounded from the ship as it halted before them. A voice transmitted from afar, composed not of any specific language but of strange syllables. Though impossible to comprehend, the aning was clear.

"This is an exit. If you wish to enter the Island, please proceed to the other entrance to access the inland sea harbor."

Although everyone had already noticed this, they were intercepted before they had a chance to adjust their course. The Sound of Dawn quickly turned its bow. Upon seeing the Sound of Dawn turn, the iron ship finally departed.

"Is that the iron ship of the Holy Machine Church?" Chadite asked, glancing back at the departing iron ship and then at Simon nearby.

Simon nodded, "Yes, but it's strange. Why is it identical to the standard ship used by the Church in the Minghuo Sea Region?"

Despite the significant distance between the two Churches, the technology they employed was identical.

"Isn't that normal? Why does it seem strange?" Jason questioned puzzledly from beside him.

"Because when I left, the technology on this ship was still considered experintal and not yet used for actual manufacturing. Many of the technologies on it were newly developed at the ti. I even t several researchers of these new technologies and was involved in so of the research projects."

This ant so of the technology on this ship had to be unique to the Four Divine Seas, considering when he had left his own sea region. It wasn't surprising that this ship had been implented. What was surprising was how the Endless Sea could have also implented it so quickly. He could confirm the technology definitely originated from the Four Divine Seas. Logically, this situation shouldn't have occurred.

"Perhaps the connection between Churches is far closer than we imagined," Alka mused. "After all, the Four Divines hold the world's most primal secrets, don't they? They surely have connections unknown to us. To them, the Endless Sea might not be as challenging as it is for us. Perhaps there's an internal passageway."

Alka had always harbored such suspicions. For example, his greatest suspicion was that His Holiness the Pope of Holand Sea was much weaker in strength compared to those in the Endless Sea. It was unreasonable. One could say the Holand Sea restricted the developnt of power, but such weak strength... once Alka truly experienced it, it beca clear. It wasn't just a matter of weak strength; many things required strength as their foundation, including the understanding of technology and ideology. And the most absurd thing was the Scepter-grade Spell. At that ti, already possessing two Treasures, he could clearly perceive that the Archbishop certainly possessed a Scepter-grade Treasure. Was it possible for soone not even at the Second Stage to control such a thing? Clearly unlikely.

The conversation continued as they waited for the Sound of Dawn to navigate along the Island's edge, rounding to the other side. The Island they were navigating around seed to be Left Son Island, occupied by the Holy Machine Church. Visible on it were various steel structures that appeared quite unique. In Alka's words, they bore a bit of a steampunk essence. Besides so simple wooden houses, nurous large steel constructions, sowhat resembling factories, were present.

"Look up! There's a ship flying in the sky?" Lucilia exclaid, pointing upward.

The group looked up. An enormous elliptical object was visible, carrying sothing resembling a ship structure, slowly flying in the sky. It was an airship, with a very conspicuous airship configuration.

Alka recalled Simon ntioning that airships already existed in their sea region. However, these airships were reportedly not very practical, even in Holand Sea.

Simon then explained, "That's an airship. See the huge conical balloon on top? It contains a type of gas that allows it to float."

"But that thing is genuinely unusable," Simon continued. "Even slightly chaotic sea weather can shred it to pieces. It's mainly usable on islands like this, mostly for scouting distant intelligence."

Indeed, they only saw this one in the sky; no more were visible. In this endless Ocean world, airships indeed had limited utility. This was especially true in the Endless Sea, known for its severe weather. Even if the presence of Landmark Island, with its large population, prompted the Dream World's mist-creatures to prioritize repairing the mists in this area, it still couldn't mitigate the severe weather. After all, even in the Four Divine Seas, harsh weather was an unavoidable issue. Thus, these things lacked much practicality.
