The stones, large and small, along with these vines, had long since rged, becoming part of the swamp.

After observing the underwater scenery, Pororo swam upwards, found the gap he had torn earlier, and climbed back out.

Seeing Pororo erge from the gap, the others imdiately looked at him.

"There are indeed ruins below, just as Chadite ntioned," Pororo reported. "And not just a few—there are many. In the deeper waters, it's almost entirely various kinds of ruins tangled with vines."

Hearing this, Alka frowned.

"Did you see any patterns or inscriptions on those buildings?" Lucilia asked eagerly.

Pororo thought carefully. "There probably are, but not many. Those stones are covered in plants and various corals; they've long since been damaged beyond recognition. I think it's better not to have too high hopes."

Lucilia nodded. "As long as there are so, it's better than knowing nothing." Saying this, she jumped from Alka's shoulder onto Pororo's. "Take down to have a look."

Alka also nodded and said, "You two go and explore the ruins below. Chadite and I will continue to survey the surrounding environnt."

Pororo nodded. The two groups split up and began their respective tasks.

"Hold on tight," Pororo warned. "The currents below aren't calm; don't get swept away."

Lucilia nodded. "Don't worry."

Then, the two of them dived down once again through the previously made gap.

Despite the waters below being possibly only four or five ters from the surface, the thick layer of vines blocked all light, leaving it pitch black. It was as if they were in the deep sea, unable to see anything.

Pororo, being a fishman of the Ocean Race, could naturally see clearly in the seawater. Lucilia, however, could not see clearly and had to rely on a light source to get a rough view of her surroundings. Visibility was very low; at most, she could only see things imdiately around her.

"I can't see clearly into the distance," Lucilia said. "Take for a closer look. We need to find places that are well-preserved, with inscriptions on them. Even if so are almost destroyed, don't overlook them."

Hearing Lucilia's request, Pororo nodded and began to swim around. After circling a large area and disturbing countless schools of fish, they finally found a damaged, square stone pillar. Here, they saw so blurred markings and images.

Lucilia imdiately brought her light source closer to examine them. "Hmm... It's severely damaged," she murmured, "soaked in seawater and badly corroded."

Fortunately, the materials used for the ruins seed quite good, and the carvings had once been very fine. Even though a long ti had passed, with a little cleaning, they were still distinguishable.

The common script of the Sea of All Life… or is it just slightly similar, an ancient version? Lucilia muttered to herself as she observed and recorded.

Pororo couldn't understand any of it and wasn't interested, rely remaining alert to their surroundings. This place gave him an unsettling feeling; he constantly sensed danger. Though they were only ten to twenty ters underwater, it was as pitch-black as the deep sea, and the environnt was exceptionally cold and unnerving. He had the persistent feeling that sothing malicious lurked in the dark water.

"There's too little to record here," Lucilia said after a while. "Let's go sowhere else once we're done."

Pororo nodded and led Lucilia towards other ruins that had more peculiar inscriptions and images. There were quite a few ruins suspended by vines in regions closer to the sea's surface. However, not many had inscriptions or images, and it wasn't long before they had checked all of them in the vicinity.

Pororo was about to take Lucilia deeper, where there were significantly more entangled plants and ruins.

"Careful! Sothing nasty is coming," Pororo suddenly warned, halting as he was descending with Lucilia. Blue electric light activated the Thunder engravings on his body, casting an extraordinarily conspicuous glow in the deep sea.

Seeing Pororo's reaction, Lucilia instantly shifted into a combat stance. Her combat style, however, leaned towards stealth and ambush, and the aquatic environnt hindered her performance. Even as a doll, her combat prowess in the sea was inferior to that of a pure Ocean Race mber.

Red Energy began to swirl around her.

"Here it cos," Pororo said grimly.

Thanks to his sharp perception in the water, Pororo detected the enemy's approach. Its hostility was blatant; it was clearly so kind of Sea Beast.

Sure enough, a black shadow erged from the depths. Sothing snakelike shot towards them with incredible speed. It opened its gaping maw and lunged at Pororo, not hesitating for a mont.

Facing the sudden attack, Pororo quickly raised his hands to block the creature's huge mouth. Its sowhat sharp teeth scraped his skin.

Suddenly, Lucilia appeared atop the giant serpent's head. A red blade materialized in her hand, and she plunged it directly into the creature. Red Energy gushed out, swiftly turning the small wound into a deep, penetrating gash.

The giant serpent thrashed wildly. Pororo's arm muscles bulged, and the Thunder patterns on his arms flickered. A desolate, withering aura spread through the water.
