Upon hearing this, Alka quickly walked over to take a look. "It's not your imagination; the Sea of Moisture is indeed drifting in another direction." He then shook his head sowhat helplessly. "This is troubleso. It's going to take more ti."
Previously, they had traveled from the edge of the Life and Death Boundary all the way to the Land of All Spirits. Since the Sea of Moisture was also navigating the sea, their intersecting routes allowed them to arrive quickly. This ti, however, they were progressing parallel to the Sea of Moisture, which ant it would take longer. They would also need to maintain a higher speed to reach their destination. This clearly demonstrated how annoying the random movent of the Sea of Moisture within the entire area was.
"Alright, Sound of Dawn, let's have a race with this region!"
As Alka finished speaking, the Sound of Dawn emitted a lodious song and then swiftly sailed forward.
"We've been away from the Sound of Dawn for so long. Let's rest for a bit and then get moving to give her a check-up," Simon suggested after observing the Sound of Dawn's condition.
"No problem." Alka nodded, agreeing with this suggestion.
Properly maintaining a ship was very important for sea voyages. They had indeed been away from the Sound of Dawn for a considerable ti. They absolutely had to conduct a thorough inspection of her condition and ensure proper maintenance and care.
The group dispersed. After resting for a while, cleaning the gri off their bodies, and enjoying a hearty al, everyone on board, except for those on watch in the lookout room, sprang into action.
Alka made his way to the central Treasure Vault. He gently stretched out his hand and, after a series of security checks, opened the door to the Treasure Vault.
As the cylindrical Treasure Vault was revealed, the instrunt floating in the center continued to emit a glowing light. However, only a small pile of Golden Sails could be seen arrayed around it. The other treasures had already been dealt with. Of the Golden Sails, only about a few hundred pieces remained.
Typically, a certain amount of the treasure they acquired would be deposited into the Treasure Vault for daily expenses. Apart from this small amount of wealth remaining, only the blue Magic Items beside it were left. These Magic Items were either of little use, or they were unsuitable for the crew, so they were all stored here. This ship was initially bound to Alka, so its core had been primarily imbued by his Treasure. Currently, the extent of the Sound of Dawn's core's imbuent was quite profound.
Alka raised his hands. The violin gently floated down. However, the violin was larger than Alka himself. He mainly wanted to conduct a more detailed inspection.
With a slight movent of his body, Alka swapped his current presence for his substitute from the Dream Realm. His Mirror Surface and Dream Catcher floated out, encircling the violin to conduct the final inspection.
"Oh, it has reached this stage?" Alka remarked with so wonder. "It seems upgrading you needs to be put on the agenda," he added, gently patting the violin.
A llow, joyful song resounded near his ears.
"There's no need to rush; it will be possible soon."
Answering the Sound of Dawn, Alka placed the violin back in its position and then closed the Treasure Vault door.
Under the imbuent of Alka's two Treasures, the core of the Sound of Dawn had been significantly altered by the two streams of Energy. This ant that the ship could now utilize more functions. But what limited her wasn't her inherent capability, but the ship's overall structure. Certain parts of the ship required special modifications, specifically replacing components with suitable Spell Materials. Once that was done, the Sound of Dawn would be upgraded from an ordinary Ghost Ship.
In fact, even as she was now, she could already utilize so special abilities. However, doing so would cause certain issues with her overall structure. Although her core now t the fundantal requirents, the exterior hull couldn't fully support them, so forcibly using those abilities would naturally co at a price. Leaving the entire ship battered and broken would not be worth the trade-off.
Alka helplessly patted his cheeks. How did this end up so much like ? Disjointed both inside and out. It really isn't easy to balance reality and the Dream Realm.
