This was the camp where Alka and the others were located.
On the outskirts of the dense forest, Puppet Girls could be seen patrolling. On the vertical branches, so Puppet Girls remained concealed. Even Chadite and the others were standing outside chatting, but Jason, sitting on the dragon’s back, could clearly see they remained quite vigilant.
"What’s going on? Why have they suddenly beco so vigilant?" Jason asked, sowhat puzzled.
"Buji."
Hearing Ulu Liwus’s words, Jason frowned. "Magic Power?"
Suddenly thinking of sothing, he closed his eyes and began to carefully sense the changes around him. As they drew closer to the camp, they could already feel Magic Power converging there, as if a vortex was present.
Feeling this change, Jason imdiately opened his eyes. Is Alka about to break through?
"Be careful. We’ll land on the outskirts," Jason instructed.
Ulu Liwus nodded. Its flapping wings beca a streak of light, and it then landed gently beside Chadite and the others.
"You’re back? How did it go? Did you catch them?" Simon asked as he saw Jason land.
Jason dismounted from Ulu Liwus’s back, patted the dragon, then shook his head. "Just a minor henchman. No information at all."
Hearing this, Simon nodded. That was typical; most of those they caught were insignificant. "These Cultists have beco increasingly annoying recently," Simon said.
Hearing this, Juanlu glanced at him. "Another new Cult Group has appeared. Their emblem is a serpent coiled around a tree trunk." As he spoke, he handed them a piece of tattered cloth he had obtained.
Chadite looked toward the Land of Fragrance and murmured, "It seems the Flower Fairy is indeed about to fully awaken."
This had been happening in recent months, ever since Alka gave the Flower Fairy the Divine Essence she required. The Cult Groups in the Giant Wood Habitat seed to have been enraged by sothing. They had been frantically dispatching various teams to this place to cause destruction. Besides the Cult Group led by that mber of the Nafasi Clan, there were three others. Now, another one had joined their ranks.
How could such a small place attract so many Cult Groups? Along with them ca pirates and bands of thieves. The area could now be described as a maelstrom of chaos.
The problem was that the peculiar undead at the Life and Death Boundary also seed to have been activated. They were continuously launching attacks on the Land of All Spirits. They often saw wounded returning within the Land of Fragrance, and recruitnt teams were visible in villages and gathering places everywhere. Militias of all kinds patrolled vigilantly day and night, as if the entire Land of All Spirits had entered so critical period.
They had practically beco long-term rcenaries for the Land of Fragrance. This was mainly because that mber of the Nafasi Clan was among these Cult Groups. The latest information they had obtained indicated that this mber of the Nafasi Clan was still in the Giant Wood Habitat and had not returned.
"By the way, Jilenna and the others have the latest news," Chadite suddenly rembered and said.
Hearing this, everyone turned to look at her.
"They have the latest news about that Nafasi. It’s said he has already co here to continue his disruptive activities."
"He’s finally here? The wait was exhausting," Jason said with a smile.
The surrounding Magic Power began to swirl in large quantities, and the pulling sensation beca more distinct. Feeling this change, everyone looked towards the forest.
"Is this the final stage?" soone asked.
"It should be," another confird.
anwhile, Alka was in the forest, at the center of their camp. His entire body floated in the air. The Magic Gathering Stone and its accompanying Crystal Stones above his head were frantically drawing Magic Power from the surroundings. Alka’s Mirror and Dream Catcher floated beside him, rotating. The condensed Magic Power gathered around him, flowing into his body like water.
Inside his body, three groups of Spirals, each composed of nine rings, began to press closer together under the imnse pressure of the Magic Power. The original nine rings in each group were now almost completely overlapping, appearing as just three thick rings if not observed closely. The space between the overlapping rings shrank until it was almost non-existent, with only a faint seam visible.
When the three groups of Spirals completely rged into a single, composite group, a large amount of Magic Power then converged upon this now incredibly thick Spiral. From it, a new, much finer Spiral began to form—thinner than the others, almost like a strand of hair. This new Spiral signified that Alka had successfully advanced to the Fourth Stage. He had broken through from 27 Spirals to 28.
The Magic Power rotated, forming a new cycle within his body. This cycle contained a greater volu of Magic Power, and its concentration was far denser than before. The improvent in Magic Power quality also began to provide feedback to other areas of Alka’s body. His heart, blood vessels, muscles, bones, even his brain and his most enigmatic soul—all were advancing under the influence of this enhanced Magic Power quality.
The previous disconnect between his spirit and body began to dissolve. They drew closer, their connection tightening. Although a degree of separation still existed compared to a normal person, it was no longer as perilous as before. The gap between them had narrowed to a very safe margin. Alka himself no longer needed to worry about any situation or accident causing a complete schism between his physical reality and his spirit.
