Everything had been replaced with plant-like structures, and they were achieving even better effects. For instance, Magic Power transmission efficiency was improved, Magic Power gathering was better, and they even automatically broke down so residues within the Magic Power, purifying it.
At that mont, the door to the manufacturing hall opened, and Matilda swam in.
"Weren't you going to the library with Lucilia?"
"Yes, but I left. The place had changed a lot, and Lucilia seed quite affected by it; she cried."
"She cried?" Alka frowned, stepping forward to ask.
Seeing Alka's expression, Matilda smiled. "Don't be so tense. It was tears of joy. She even said she wants to live there now."

Simon, who was nearby, looked at Matilda and said, "I suggest you check on the changes in your area. We've had significant changes here."
Hearing this, Matilda's expression changed, and she quickly headed to her designated area. The two n watched as her expression shifted from shock, to gloom, and then to delight.
The sequence of her expressions was identical to theirs, and the two n nodded in satisfaction.
Apparently, the equipnt changes wrought by the plant roots were even better than Matilda's previous devices, especially for the extraction and refinent of certain materials. Overall, the changes here were for the better.
"I need to check out the Treasure Vault."
After saying this, Alka walked out directly. The other two nodded but didn't follow.
The Treasure Vault was an extrely important area, usually allowing only one person entry at a ti.
Alka arrived beside the central cylindrical column. The column was now completely wrapped with sprawling tree roots, forming sothing like a pillar. Various branches, flowers, and grasses grew on it, appearing intentionally camouflaged. These plants resembled the surrounding environnt, causing one to inadvertently overlook this spot, mistaking it for part of a wall.
These flowers and grasses possessed a natural ability to confuse the senses, showing no Magic Power fluctuations. Very good.
Alka gently raised his hand and placed it on the tree roots.
The roots slowly rotated, revealing an opening just wide enough for one person to pass through. Alka stepped inside.
The tree roots imdiately sealed shut once more.
Inside, Alka observed the vertical, cylindrical protective structure. Above, a violin was entwined by vines.
The violin no longer possessed Spirituality, but its original core function remained and was integrated with the entire plant system. Its color had turned erald green, becoming part of the tree roots, its form seemingly constructed from them. It emitted an erald glow and bore crystal engravings.
Alka looked around the Treasure Vault. The encircling tree roots and vines had replaced all the defensive and alert Spells previously inscribed there. Great, much better defense than before, and even more solid.
Satisfied with his inspection, Alka left and went to the main deck.
Jason was there, checking the changes to the Vibrating Stone Cannons. These cannons had been entirely entwined by vines, and Simon had already modified them countless tis before.
It was debatable whether they could still be called Vibrating Stone Cannons.
"They've beco pure Energy Cannons now," Jason said. "In truth, they kind of resemble the Flower Cannon at the Life and Death Boundary."
Hearing Jason, Alka went over to take a look.
"What's this crystal on top of the cannon?"
The cannon, long since wrapped in vines, now had a crystal protruding from its rear—sothing that hadn't been there before.
"It's similar to Ulu Liwus's crystal structure," Jason explained. "It probably serves a role akin to gathering Energy."
The vines entwined around the crystal had a different structure, with patterns resembling glowing blue lines. They looked like conduits specifically designed to receive Energy.
"Fire a shot to test it."
Right after Alka spoke, the Vine Cannon before him fired.
There was almost no recoil, and even the sound of firing was very muffled and subtle.
An erald green projectile flew out.
It struck the surface of the distant sea, and then a large, wildly thrashing vine monster erupted from the water. Alka watched the vine monster rampage for a good while before it finally quieted down, dissolving into motes of energy and vanishing.
"So this is what they've beco?" Alka mused. "Quite peculiar indeed."
Alka walked around the ship, observing all the changes. It was easy to conclude that the ship had rged entirely with the tree, becoming a living battleship.
The original rigging had been replaced with vine-like tendrils that offered excellent camouflage. Compared to before, they were also more resilient, could automatically regrow if severed, and possessed potent offensive capabilities.
Fortunately, the sails remained unchanged. Apart from an exaggeratedly large Treasure Tree that had sprouted on deck, the ship's overall exterior was largely the sa. The main difference was the network of vines now enveloping the ship, giving it the appearance of being parasitized by tree roots.
The library, moreover, had completely transford into a garden with a forest-like structure. This style was just as Alka had seen in Lucilia's Dream Realm; it was almost identical.
Alka even wondered if it had been recreated 1:1 based on what he saw in Lucilia's Dream Realm.
Overall, thanks to that seed, the entire ship had beco a more complete entity. It had beco a living thing capable of self-repair. Furthermore, empowered by their Treasures, the Sound of Dawn now also possessed so unique abilities.
Moreover, the tree was capable of growing, aning the battleship could also continue to mature. However, this would require more Energy nourishnt and ti.
At least, that's what Julia had said.
Alka found himself sowhat anticipating what it would look like once fully grown.
