The group lay sprawled across their respective positions.
This past week had indeed been extraordinarily exhausting, given they had been hunting demons nearby. In such an environnt, they hardly got any proper sleep and maintained a heightened state of vigilance.
Moreover, the demon hunts were conducted in shifts.
In addition to rushing back hastily,
all this fatigue piled up and flooded back into their bodies and minds the mont they relaxed.
Seeing everyone's state, Alka smiled helplessly and lifted the wooden box filled with a large basket of trophies over his head.
"Then I'll start by taking care of the last task."
So saying, he carried the wooden box filled with various demon horns and made his way to the Land of Fragrance.
He quickly reached the camp.
"This many?" Jilenna's voice was filled with surprise.
By this ti, in the camp of the Land of Fragrance, Alka had already brought over all they had gained in the past few days.
Even the passing soldiers around were stunned.
Having dealt with these creatures all this ti, they naturally understood what those piled black horns in the box represented.
They signified a demon, one after another, living—nearly a hundred slain demons in that large box—what an astonishing number.
"Could it be that the purifiers around White Three Flowers Village are you guys?" Jilenna asked as if she just realized sothing.
Alka nodded: "That's right, it's us. Have you already received the news?"
The area they were in earlier could indeed be considered the vicinity of White Three Flowers Village.
"One of my soldiers reported that the demon symptoms in that area have significantly decreased. They've even seen traces of demon hunting and so battle signs left behind."
Jilenna spoke with a smile.
Then, she waved her hand, and two soldiers imdiately stepped forward, pulling away the wooden box to start verifying the tokens inside.
"Truly, I must thank you for clearing out an entire area for us; we can finally catch a breath." Saying this, Jilenna couldn't help but sigh.
The horns were quickly sorted, though most of the demons were imps and demons of a similar level, so they weren't of high value.
But it was more than enough.
For ordinary soldiers, even these imps were tough to handle.
Jilenna handed Alka two intricately spiraled, beautifully textured horns.
"These two are more valuable, so they're yours. I'll take the rest, if that's alright."
"Of course, feel free to use them," Alka replied with a smile as he accepted the horns.
The two they received were trophies from the only two Fourth Stage demons they encountered while clearing that area in the past few days.
Apart from these, the lower-tier demon horns were hardly any good material.
They were hard to clean, mostly impurities anyway.
"Including these two and that big lot, I'll give you 6000 Golden Sails to make a round number. No problem, right?"
Jilenna looked at Alka, speaking generously.
Alka nodded, a smile on his face: "Not at all, I feel I should thank the boss."
"Boss?"
"Don't mind it, just a casual title."
6000 Golden Sails, already more than the quantity they had hunted, was indeed generous.
Jilenna nodded, not pursuing further: "So do you intend to take the gold coins, or exchange them for equivalent supplies? Apart from so currently needed strategic materials, everything else is available at a regular price."
She was evidently asking if Alka and the others needed any gemstones or the high-level spell materials unique to the Land of Spirits.
Alka thought about it, then scribbled a list on the spot.
"Help exchange 1000 Golden Sails for these materials."
Most of these materials were needed by the ship.
Things like fine seasonings and ingredients, materials for repairing the ship, even fertilizer for the healthy growth of their great tree.
And, of course, Jason's beloved gemstones.
Hmm… looks like he'll be carrying debt for a while longer.
Jilenna and her people paid promptly, swiftly bringing over a large box of coins along with the materials Alka asked for.
Due to manpower issues, Akka had to transport them back by himself.
Fortunately, Alka had anticipated this and had cleared so materials from his Pocket Ring at the camp to make room.
With their gains, they returned to the camp.

"Our research has found that the frequent appearances of demons are not only due to a decline in the control ability over this place.
There's also a fixed energy source, and special arrays are hidden within the Land of Spirits."
A young man, dressed like a scholar, pushed up his glasses and laid his recorded data on the table.
Surrounding the table made of fresh flowers, a few people with diverse appearances sat.
From their attire, it was easy to categorize them into three different factions.
The Holy Mother Church, the Holy Machine Church, and the Flower Fairies.
"Now that you're inford, does anyone have any thoughts to share?" asked an elder with a scruffy white beard sitting nearby.
Beside him sat a muscular, tall figure, Rui Kai.
Upon hearing this, Fulna the Great Gardener frowned and asked, "So, can we locate these arrays, dismantle them, and relieve so pressure from the rear?"
By this point, the final reinforcents from both the Holy Mother and Holy Machine Churches had reached the frontlines, easing the strain considerably.
They had already begun seeking thods to eliminate the demons rampaging behind them, aiming for a permanent solution to this issue.
Otherwise, they wouldn't have the capacity to fully counterattack and push the undead at the Life and Death Boundary back.
"No, so advanced, presumably Divine Level force, has obscured these arrays; we've only pinpointed the energy source."
The young scholar answered once more.
