If viewed with a more rigorous attitude, Simon actually possesses two treasures.
One is that treasure index finger capable of manipulating chanical constructs, even transforming parts of flesh into machinery.
The other is the Hand of Precision completely taken as his right forearm, which Alka initially acquired from the Holy Machine Church as a Holy Artifact.
Only through the Church's rituals can it be transford into a treasure usable solely by its mbers.
Though it's unclear what kind of exchange Simon had with the Church, at least since arriving at Gemini Island, the Hand of Precision remains under Simon's control.
The Church has not reclaid it, evidently consenting for Simon to use this Holy Artifact.
Overall, even after being upgraded into a treasure, this Holy Artifact doesn't significantly enhance Simon.
The Holy Artifact essentially serves as an auxiliary treasure, not a complete treasure.
If Alka and they couldn't understand the fundantal difference between a Holy Artifact and a treasure before,
now they can clearly articulate that the essence between a Holy Artifact and a treasure is one being genuinely transford from Divine Essence.
The other item can only be said to use Divine Power, after being deeply imbued with it, barely reaching treasure level.
The so-called barely reaching treasure level mainly reflects its capability, in certain conditions, to elevate a few people to beco touchers.
Overall, it still relies on Divine Power.
According to their understanding, this touch must also be a Divine believer.
So strictly speaking, Simon can be considered to have mastered one and a half treasures.
But he happens to be a mber of the Holy Machine Church and its unique profession – a chanic.
Both treasures can offer him strong support.
When Alka handed over the Star River, he extended his hand.
The tallic palm took the ring.
He looked at his hands, deliberating, and then wore it on his left hand.
His entire left hand was cut off at the root, entirely relying on the treasure index finger to construct a tal substitute.
His right arm similarly cut from the forearm, using the Hand of Precision to replace the forearm and hand.
The treasure index finger also replaced the index finger from the Hand of Precision.
So after pondering, he wore the ring on the chanical finger of his left hand.
In the eyes of all, the ring firmly sat on his left hand.
As it was worn on the finger, strands of Magic Power emanating from the chanical arm spread, then flowed into the ring flowing with the Star River.
The Star River emitted faint starlight.
And then suddenly.
With the clattering sound of parts scattering.
Simon's entire left arm imdiately shattered into fragnted tal parts, all falling to the floor. Even his right arm's Hand of Precision and the index finger were all removed one by one, landing on the deck.
Simon suddenly transford into a state of complete left arm loss, leaving only the upper arm of the right arm.
Looking at the scene, Simon shrugged optimistically and said sowhat helplessly, "Seems like this treasure clearly doesn't suit ."
Alka awkwardly squatted down, picking up the ring from the broken parts.
Then took up the treasure index finger and the Hand of Precision, aligning them to Simon's right arm.
Without the interference from the Star River, the Hand of Precision swiftly fitted, connecting with the index finger. Instantly the chanical parts on the ground flew up, linking the severed joint of the left arm, quickly spreading downward.
A brand new left arm was reconstructed.
"Looks like I'll have to wear it for a while." Alka said, putting the ring back on his hand.
The reason he didn't want to wear the Star River on his hand was that he couldn't use the most critical ability of the Dream Catcher.
Which was the substitute in the Dream Realm.
Although he rarely used such an ability in current battles, you cannot deny it is indeed a very practical one in battle.
Able to substitute him in the current battle phase to reveal enemy's abilities.
