Hearing the sound from behind, Karuto swung wildly behind him.
Nurous blood-red blades rotated around.
But Alka wasn't hit; all around was nothing but mist.
Suddenly, in an instant, disadvantage turned to advantage.
The enveloping pink mist, combined with the pure black environnt, left the enemies in helpless desperation.

All cloaked in the mist instantly looked around warily.
But couldn't identify the enemy.
A silver card flew overhead, and even though Karuto sensed and dodged rapidly, the card still sliced a long cut on his arm.
Thick blood flowed like magma.
"Attack from afar, or directly attack underwater! This world has transparent walls!" a low voice from a gap rang out.
The speaker was an elderly woman in a gray robe.
A glass card etched with red fla patterns pierced into the woman's back.
Before the woman could scream, red light flashed, and a massive explosion erupted.
The enormous flas engulfed the old woman and the cultists nearby, illuminating the surroundings montarily.
"Look who's talking too much."
Alka's voice echoed in the space.
Turns out these cultists aren't all brainless; just monts after flipping in, they found an opportunity to break free.
Karuto had heard this, and he fiercely opened his mouth wide, spewing magma-like energy.

Returning to the Real World, darkness and mist vanished instantly, revealing the battlefield clearly.
Just monts ago had already cost dozens of pirates and cultists.
The demon-transford Karuto had one of his demon horns blown off but still seed capable of action.
Rage filled his orange-yellow eyes, glaring at Alka.
At this mont, Alka bore crystal-like antlers, smiling at everyone.
"Die!"
He shouted angrily.
Overwheld by inexplicable fury, Karuto rushed at Alka once more. This ti, Alka didn't dodge, as nurous vines sprang from the water below, coiling around Karuto's body.
Though he broke free with his strength in an instant, he was unaware that the pink mist had wrapped around him, instantly slowing him down.
A scorching heavy hamr slamd into him, knocking him into the water, splashing heavily like raindrops upon all present.
The falling droplets felt slightly warm.
One of Karuto's wings was bent, hanging like a broken-kite on his back.
"You're Karuto? How did you beco such an eyesore?" Rui Kai disdainfully asked, stepping on Karuto's head. Then raising his giant hamr, ready to end his life.
At that mont, a blood-red aura erupted from beneath Karuto's feet, knocking Rui Kai away.
Alati appeared behind Rui Kai, catching him.
"Be careful, you damn fool!"
"Your mouth stinks; thanks anyway."
Rui Kai spoke, propping up his hamr to stand.
At this mont, after various sneak attacks and beatings, Karuto was already on his last breath. However, his form underwent a complete change as the water poured down, with massive blood-red bat wings appearing on his back.
The demon wings were larger than ever, covered in patterns.
Blood-red robes adhered to the bat wings, tightly clinging, tracing blood-red trajectories.
