Upon hearing this, Waku rubbed his eyes and looked around, making sure there was nothing unusual before turning his head to look at Kavala.
"Are you sure you didn't feel it wrong? Could it be you're just too tired?"
Kavala glanced at him: "I didn't feel it wrong, and I just took a nap before coming here."
Waku nodded, then frowned, displaying a slight hint of alertness as he looked around.
Trying to sense the strange feeling Kavala ntioned, although Kavala seed unreliable. As a teammate, Waku clearly understood that his companion wouldn't joke in such a place.
Now was definitely not the ti to joke around.
After a brief inspection, Waku remained frozen in place with his cha, seemingly contemplating sothing.
"What are you thinking about? It might just be my illusion; look here, it's barren with no signs at all."
Just after she spoke, she felt a chill coming from behind her.
Her eyes widened as she suddenly turned her head to look behind her.
Sohow, a man with different features from them appeared behind her.
He stood there staring at them.
"Who are you? Who are you?" Kavala shouted, piloting her cha to back away repeatedly, raising one arm of the cha directly at the man who had suddenly appeared.
One arm protruded with sothing that looked like a gun barrel, while the other arm shot out, forming a spiral drill.
On the other side, Waku also reacted swiftly, quickly standing alongside Kavala, and similarly deploying the weapons on his cha's huge arms to point at the mysterious man.
However, his weapon was obviously sowhat different.
"I an no harm, no need to be so tense." Alka said to them, his voice was quite calm.
"Back off! Quickly back off!" Waku loudly warned.
His reaction was sowhat unexpected.
Seeing the situation, Alka felt a bit helpless.
Why so tense?
In an instant, his figure disappeared, and the two only felt a blur before their eyes, without even having ti to launch a chanical attack.
Then they found themselves unable to move. Looking down, they noticed they had been sohow pulled out from the cha with white ropes binding them.
Pale pink smoke surrounded them, as if the place had drastically changed in an instant.
Alka in front of them also multiplied into several people.
Lucilia, Chadite, and Simon were all beside Alka, looking curiously at the two of them.
"Who are you? Why are you here?" Waku asked, as he found himself immobilized and knew they had no ans of resistance, looking at Alka and the others.
Hoping to gain so information.
"Us? We are the Compass Eye Treasure Hunting Team." Alka introduced himself with a smile.
"You can call Alka, they're my teammates, that's..."
With Alka's introduction, Lucilia, Chadite, and Simon greeted them with a smile, and the four appeared to be exceptionally calm.
If not for the fact that the two in front of them were bound.
However, their attitude at least slightly eased the emotions of the captured pair.
At least, no malice was seen.
"But why are you here? Are you outsiders? Did you co in from outside?" Kavala impatiently asked.
Her voice was no longer terrified at suddenly being captured, but rather carried a hint of excitent.
"That's correct, we're from outside." Alka said straightforwardly.
From the reaction to his answer, he could tell the two were extrely shocked.
They could even be described as incredulous.
Seeing the two seed to want to ask sothing, Alka quickly raised his hand to interrupt.
"You've asked us so much, now it's our turn, isn't it?"
Saying this, Alka looked at the two: "Are you, Vastva people?"
This was the question Alka was most curious about, as he hadn't considered life and a civilization existing within the Heart of Vastva.
But upon realizing, the first question that ca to Alka's mind was perhaps this was part of the once existing Vaswa City State left behind here.
The outside Broken Island, they had confird, was originally a tiny part sliced away from the ancient Vastva City State.
That is, contrary to what he thought, the larger part hadn't shattered or sunk into the deep sea, but remained inside the Heart of Vastva's space.
If true, these Vastva people have lived from the bygone age to now.
Living within a closed world.
Thinking like this, Alka felt it was perhaps too exaggerated, but it was the only possibility.
Hearing Alka's question, Waku and Kavala exchanged glances, seeing the information in each other's eyes.
They weren't sure whether to answer this question that seed important but not much so at the sa ti.
"You see, I can easily access information from your minds but to show goodwill, I did not do so.
Instead, I politely asked and even answered your questions, this should be enough to demonstrate my goodwill, right?"
