They gradually ca to trust that Alka and the others ca with good intentions.

Silently, they donned the chanical armor in front of them.

With the machines whirring, Rope and the other began to move forward: "Then co with us, it's not far from here."

The people followed them, slowing their pace to keep alongside the chas.

"How did you do it?" Lucilia whispered as she sat on Alka's shoulder.

They had no idea how Alka suddenly had the ability to move things.

"A new ability," Alka said briefly.

"They're moving so slow," Simon complained helplessly.

"This is already fast; any faster would waste a lot of unnecessary magic power," Kavala countered.

Thinking about the situation here, Simon said no more. It was all forced by the environnt.

Then he extended his chanical arm, used the index finger of his treasure to tap the machine.

The two chas seed to undergo so subtle changes, as internal energy suddenly filled them up.

Finally, the two chas began operating quickly, as if entering so kind of overload mode.

"What's going on?" Waku, piloting his own cha, was sowhat surprised. Then he imdiately thought of sothing and turned his head.

Simon smiled and said, "No need to thank , let's hurry."

The two who wanted to ask questions had to close their mouths and, driving their suddenly energized machines, freely ran over the wastelands.

All the way, there was nothing but desolate wastelands without a trace of life.

Alka quickly noticed what seed to be foundations of buildings in the distance, but there was not even a single large, intact stone visible.

If it weren't for these foundations exposed on the ground, who would know that there was once a large building complex here?

"This place must have had a large number of buildings, but why is there not even a ruin left now?" Chadite asked, looking at the scene beside him.

Hearing this, Waku turned, glanced, and said, "Of course the materials were recycled; how could we let materials be randomly discarded here? Materials are very precious."

At this, everyone instantly understood.

Indeed, the place had beco so desolated; every large, intact stone block was a resource.

No way could the ruins be left wastefully here.

This also allowed them to understand indirectly that the remaining Vastva people were clearly living in extre difficulty.

Resources were extrely scarce.

Soon they saw a cluster of buildings in the distance.

This cluster of buildings lacked any city wall structure, which made sense. After all, for thousands of years, only they lived here; what was the use of towering walls?

But there were still so simple defensive asures visible, suggesting that perhaps things weren't always peaceful among them.

As they got closer, everyone could see the buildings more directly.

The style of these buildings was very similar to the ruins outside they had seen before.

But clearly not as grand and exquisite as those outside, as most were built from materials from the ruins, already impressive enough.

Dilapidation was unavoidable.

Then the two stopped walking in front.

Kavala turned around: "For safety reasons, please wait here for a mont. Waku will stay with you. I'll go inform the Elder."

Alka nodded indifferently.

"Of course, even if both of you went, it wouldn't be a problem."

These words caused the two to exchange glances, but Waku stayed behind as Kavala walked towards the settlent ahead.

"How do you now control your magic power then?"

Alka asked Waku, who stayed behind, looking at him with curiosity.

Alka was curious because in his view, both Waku and Kavala could be described as the most ordinary mortals, although they had magic power, it was nearly imperceptible.

Extrely scarce, almost just used to maintain so special functions in their bodies.

After all, they had not fully reverted to human form, carrying remnants of Vastva characteristics.

Naturally, they could still generate so magic power, albeit very little, but sufficient for maintaining so inherent abilities.

Of course, this was just Alka's speculation.

However, the magic power within them was active, even if very tiny, indicating they didn't need a ritual of touching to use it, unlike ordinary humans.

But for growth, a touching ceremony was still necessary, an essential thod, foundational to the Spiral system created by the ancestors.

"Through structures, by collecting and condensing magic into a battery, then driving the constructs."

Waku spoke, patting the cha he was sitting in.

Understood, basically using scant magic like a high-energy battery to drive normal chanical structures.

"How much do you understand about your history, your ancestors, the lives of your forebears?"

This concerned Alka a lot.

If Vastva City had always existed here, indicating many tribesn survived.

Then the city's greatest treasures might still remain, and the most precious are their studies and accumulated knowledge.
