Rion and his squad made their way towards Arok’s forge.

Yuura, who was unaware of the 5kg azrath that Rion had in his inventory, asked worriedly, "Don’t we have to go to the mines first?"

Others also looked at him with puzzled expressions; they, too, had no idea of it, after all.

Rion, who was already worried about his chances of getting scamd, answered flatly, "Don’t worry about it."

The squad frowned, but none of them questioned him any further and continued to follow him.

A few minutes later, the loud sound of hamring and chopping reached their ears.

Rion cringed at the sound and quickened his steps towards Arok’s forge.

"So what?!" A shout rumbled throughout the cave, followed by four new squad mbers who were walking out of the cave with furious expressions all across their faces.

Rion’s squad looked at them with curious eyes before shifting their eyes towards the person who had shouted at them.

Arok stood before the doorway to his forge with a disgruntled expression on his aged face.

His eyes fell on Rion’s squad, and he spat in irritation, "What are you brats coming here for? Get your materials first!"

Rion scanned him from top to bottom and questioned in a disappointed tone, "You are Arok?"

Arok narrowed his eyes and muttered, "I am."

Rion frowned in disappointnt and asked, "I want weapons for my squad."

Arok turned around and replied while waving his hand, "Go get the materials first."

A crafty thought appeared in Rion’s mind and he asked with a calm expression, "Can you tell us where we can find the best blacksmith to forge the weapon for us?"

Arok stooped in his tracks, and Rion’s squad looked at him with a horrified expression

After finding out that they needed azrath weapons. They had asked Balthar about Arok.

According to his words, Arok was the best blacksmith in Dhaevrak because he was the descendant of the God of Forge and Craft. However, there were two other things for which he was known: his greed and pride.

He was greedy and liked to hoard the materials of others in exchange for forging and crafting weapons for them, and he was very prideful about his skills, which were considered the best within the tribe.

Arok turned towards Rion and asked in a cold tone, "What did you say?"

Rion sighed and replied, "Old man, let’s not waste each other’s ti. Just tell the na of the best blacksmith in the tribe."

Arok’s expression darkened, and he mumbled, "...Best blacksmith?" He looked into Rion’s eyes and spat, "THAT’S !! I AM THE BEST BLACKSMITH!"

Rion cleaned his left ear with his finger and blew at it before he taunted in an unimpressed tone, "Yeah, yeah, and I am the strongest warrior. Old man, do you have no sha? You look older than the dead. Just tell the way already."

Arok’s expression turned furious, and he picked up a dagger placed near him.

He showed the dagger and muttered, "See! I forged this. Nothing can break this, a dagger forged by the best."

Rion walked closer to him and checked out the dagger. A few monts later, he thought, ’Please work!’

At the sa mont, he muttered inwardly, ’Inventory.’

A ga like inventory flickered before his eyes, and in the second slot of it was a skill book.

He focused on it, and another tab appeared beside the inventory.

————

Skill Book: Beast Fangs

Type: Passive

Description: Your teeth can tear through any skin and flesh.

[Assimilate?]

[Yes / No]

————

He commanded in thought, ’Yes.’

[Assimilating with skill book: Beast Fangs!]

The strange soothing sensation returned and began to flow around his upper and lower jaw before ending at his teeth’s ends.

The sensation ended, and a ssage screen flickered before him.

[You have assimilated with Skill book: Beast Fangs!]

Just as that ssage appeared, he felt as if he could count all of his teeth without even counting... it was as if he could literally fill them on a spiritual and physical level.

A thin sliver layer appeared around his teeth, and he chomped at the dagger’s blade with his aura-clad teeth.

The dagger was made out of mythiron; thus, it was very hard to break, but not impossible. A great blacksmith may decrease the chances of it breaking, but they couldn’t make it Indestructible, and that is what Rion wanted to do.

He wanted to break the dagger and wound the blacksmith — Arok’s pride, so he could talk him into forging weapons for them without him suffering a loss.

"What are you doing?" Arok asked with a confused expression.

Rion lifted his head to look into Arok’s eyes and bit the dagger even harder.

Crk-Crk-Crk!

Spider web-like cracks appeared around the supposedly unbreakable blade, and before long, the dagger’s blade fell into pieces.

Crack!

Everyone’s eyes widened in disbelief, and Rion simply spat the pieces that fell into his mouth before muttering with a displeased look, "What did you say? NoThInG cAn BrEaK iT! It couldn’t even handle my soft teeth!"

’Soft? The hell do you an soft? It was mythiron! Second only to azrath!’ Arok scread inwardly and shifted his gaze between the broken dagger and Rion.

"Is that all you can do?" Rion asked flatly.

Arok looked into his eyes for a mont before asking, "What’s your na?"

Rion raised an eyebrow at the sudden soft tone and answered, "Rion Del Haden."

"You... you are Haden’s son?" Arok muttered with wide eyes.

"I am," Rion replied and thought, ’How co he doesn’t know that? Didn’t he see during the rituals of youth?’

"BHa-bhabhabha!" Arok began to laugh and said as he turned around, "All right, you don’t have to continue this act of yours. I will forge the weapons for you."

Rion didn’t move and asked with a frown, "Is it because of my father?"

Arok shook his head and replied in a strangely cheerful tone, "No, it’s because of your mother’s father."
