It didn't take much ti for Bai Zihan to annihilate almost all of the Demonic Beasts.

All Demonic Beasts on his path were killed rcilessly.

After so ti, survivors ca out and they too seed to ahve noticed their Flying Ship.

"Land beside those people. Since we're here, we should help them."

It was always good to maintain a decent image. The Bai Clan didn't care much about fa, but even so-having a good reputation never hurt.

The massive flying ship descended through the smoke-filled sky like a divine on.

The burning streets trembled beneath the gusts of wind that rippled from its hull.

Gu Yiming and his group shielded their faces as the gale swept through the ruins, scattering ash and embers.

When the light dimd, the enormous vessel ca to a halt just above the shattered plaza, casting a long shadow over the broken town.

From there, several figures descended-each dressed in robes bearing the emblem of the Bai Clan.

At their head stood Bai Ren, calm and composed, his presence sharp yet restrained.

The survivors, already on their knees, pressed their foreheads against the ground.

"Thank you! Thank you, great masters of the Bai Clan!"

"You have saved us! Willowshade owes the Bai Clan our lives!"

Their voices trembled not only with gratitude but with awe-and respect.

Bai Ren nodded. He wasn't going to be overly humble nor arrogant about their gratitude.

Bai Ren's gaze swept over the kneeling survivors.

"Tell what happened here."

Gu Yiming swallowed hard and stood, still trembling slightly from both exhaustion and reverence.

"Senior... it-it happened too suddenly. The beasts ca out of nowhere. We thought it was just a small outbreak at first, but then... Grade-3 and even Grade-4 beasts appeared."

He looked around, his voice breaking as he took in the charred remnants of his ho.

"What happened to the nearby Sect? They didn't send reinforcents?"

"The nearby sects-they're small. They couldn't handle a tide of this scale. Maybe they're still fighting elsewhere... or maybe..."

He hesitated, lowering his head.

"Maybe they decided it wasn't worth it. To them, losing one town is better than losing an entire force."

Bai Ren's expression didn't change.

That kind of thing wasn't uncommon. If one couldn't handle a Beast Tide, sending their disciples and elders was akin to throwing them to their deaths.

So, rather than sacrificing their forces and adding more corpses, many preferred to wait for reinforcents and make full preparations.

And if it was sothing out of their league, they will ask for help from a bigger sect and wait for them.

One of the Bai Clan cultivators behind him exhaled quietly.

"If we hadn't passed through this region, this place would have been erased."

Gu Yiming nodded shakily.

"We... truly are fortunate the Bai Clan ca to help us."

A deep roar echoed in the distance-sharp, guttural, followed by a thunderous

explosion.

Everyone turned toward the sound.

There, amidst the crimson haze, Bai Zihan was still fighting.

He stood alone in the ruins, his white robes now drenched in blood, his sword flashing through the air like a streak of silver lightning.

Each swing cleaved through multiple beasts, leaving trails of severed limbs and shattered bone.

To Gu Yiming and the survivors, it was almost surreal. That one man could turn the tide of an entire Beast Horde-it was sothing out of legend.

Gu Yiming couldn't help but whisper, eyes wide in disbelief,

"Shouldn't... shouldn't seniors assist him?"

One of the Bai Clan cultivators beside Bai Ren turned his head slightly, almost amused.

"Assist him?" he said, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "There's no need. Those beasts aren't even enough to harm him."

One Bai cultivator chuckled softly, pride glinting in his eyes.

"Indeed, there is no need for your worries. That's the Bai Clan's heir, Bai Zihan."

Gu Yiming froze.

There was no need for further introduction-there was no one who didn't know the infamous Bai Zihan.

(A big shot is here!)

Even among the Bai Clan, Bai Zihan was soone who stood out the most.

Gu Yiming had heard that Bai Zihan had already reached the Soul Formation Realm-perhaps even higher.

Rumors about him defeating his Spirit Severing Realm cousin had also reached his ears.

With such a person fighting, he wasn't worried about whether Grade-4 or Grade-5 Demonic Beasts could do anything.

As realization dawned, the sight before him beca even more unbelievable.

In the distance, Bai Zihan stepped forward calmly, cutting down another Demonic Beast as if slicing through paper.

Each strike carried a refined precision-beautiful and terrifying at once.

The earth trembled.

A guttural roar-deep and thunderous-ripped through the smoke-choked air, shaking even the distant ruins.

Gu Yiming's breath caught in his throat as he looked toward the source.

From the shattered end of the street, a shadow lood-massive, terrifying,

and brimming with killing intent.

A Grade-5 Demonic Beast stepped forth.

It was the Fla-Scaled Rhino!

"That... that's the leader," Gu Yiming whispered in horror. His legs nearly gave

out. "The Beast Tide's commander..."

Bai Ren's eyes narrowed slightly, but he made no move to assist.

The survivors could only watch as the gigantic beast locked its eyes on the lone

figure standing amidst the corpses.

Bai Zihan turned his head slightly, expression almost bored. His white robes were drenched in blood, his sword glinting faintly beneath the flicker of

firelight.

The beast roared again, the sound splitting the night like thunder.

The ground cracked beneath its claws as it lunged forward, its minions

charging with it-a tide of claws and fangs rushing toward one man. For a heartbeat, it seed as though the world itself trembled under their combined montum.

Then-

Shhhk!

A silver light flashed.

The roar was cut short.

All at once, the massive Grade-5 beast halted mid-stride. Its pupils dilated-

then its body split cleanly in two, blood spraying high into the burning sky.

The other beasts froze in confusion before their bodies followed suit, sliced

apart by an invisible force.

In the space of a single breath, silence returned to Willowshade.

Only the crackle of fire remained.

Bai Zihan lowered his sword, eyes half-lidded, a faint curl on his lips.

"Who are you trying to pretend before?" he said lightly, his tone dripping with disdain. "Such weaklings."

His voice wasn't loud, but it carried effortlessly through the air-reaching even those far behind the ruined walls.

The remaining Demonic Beasts-those that hadn't yet realized their doom-

trembled violently.

Fear!

Pure, primal fear rippled through the horde as their leader was killed instantly.

Their instincts scread that the young man before them wasn't prey. He was

the predator.

Then, as if on command, they turned tail and fled-howling, scrambling, trampling over each other to escape the town.

Bai Zihan watched them go, his expression unchanging.

"Hmph!"

He flicked his sword. Blood scattered, evaporating before it even touched the

ground. "Not worth chasing," he muttered. "Once beasts know fear, they'll never return." Far behind him, Gu Yiming and the others stared blankly at the battlefield. The corpses of Demonic Beasts littered the ruins-hundreds of them-while Bai Zihan stood alone among them, drenched in blood, his blade gleaming under

the flas.

Gu Yiming didn't respond. His throat was too dry.

He had seen many cultivators in his life-but never one like this.

The Bai Clan cultivators behind him nodded in quiet admiration, while down

below, Bai Zihan simply sheathed his sword and turned toward them.

The Beast Tide had ended.

And Willowshade-though broken and bleeding-had been saved.

All by one man.
