An earth-shattering roar ripped across the battlefield as the Grade-10 Demonic Beast Voidstep Razorhorn charged in a blur of shadow, wind, and murderous intent.
Bai Zihan's senses sharpened instantly.
He knew a Grade-10 Demonic Beast would be nothing like the creatures he had slaughtered so far...
But this one was even worse.
Just tracking it was difficult.
Its physical body was almost invisible-the only reason he could follow its movents at all was the suffocating aura it exuded.
If one relied on sight alone, they wouldn't even catch a flicker.
Bai Tianheng's eyes widened as he noticed what was happening.

He tried to break away to intercept the Voidstep Razerhorn, but his opponent refused to let him go easily.
Hellridge Basilisk blocked his path and it wasn't going to easily let go of Bai Tianheng.
The sa was true for every Great Ascension Elder of the Bai Clan-each ti they attempted to disengage and move toward Bai Zihan, the Demonic Beasts they were fighting suddenly pressed harder, violently dragging them back into the clash.
The Bai Clan grew frantic.
anwhile, the Li and Zhao Clan experts... quietly smirked.
Heaven was doing their work for them.
A Grade-10 Demonic Beast targeting Bai Zihan was nothing short of a divine blessing.
Void Refinent Realm Bai Elders also tried to rush forward-but they were far, far too slow.
By the ti any of them could reach Bai Zihan... the Razorhorn would have already torn him apart.
Still, Bai Clan mbers-including Bai Xueqing-instinctively attempted to rush to him the mont danger appeared, but they too were pinned down.
Hundreds of beasts blocked the path.
In the end, it was painfully clear-
No help would reach Bai Zihan in ti.
Well, not like Bai Zihan has thought about relying on anyone to survive. Whoosh!
Bai Zihan didn't even consider dodging.
The Voidstep Razorhorn was simply too fast-its movent tore space, its afterimages overlapping like layers of ghostly storms.
Trying to evade would only get him killed.
So instead-
He planted his feet firmly.
"Eternal Flowing Water Sword!"
Waves of Sword Qi rippled outward as he redirected the incoming strike.
A booming impact followed as the Razorhorn's charge slamd into his technique.
Bai Zihan was blasted backward-
But only ten ters.
His sword technique had diverted most of the force, and the Razorhorn's
strength clearly leaned toward speed rather than raw power.
If it had been a strength-type Grade-10 beast, that single hit would've sent him flying across the battlefield.
Yet here he stood-unscathed.
Bai Zihan smirked.
"Hmph. Looks like you aren't such a big deal after all."
As if understanding the mockery, the Voidstep Razorhorn's fury spiked.
ROAR!
Wind exploded beneath its hooves as it lunged again-faster, sharper, deadlier.
And Bai Zihan braced to et it head-on.
CLANK! CLANK!
The Voidstep Razorhorn's attacks collided against Bai Zihan's sword.
While Bai Zihan quickly realized that the Voidstep Razorhorn's speed far outclassed his own, its raw strength wasn't overwhelmingly higher.
Of course, it was still stronger than what he could muster-but not by much. As long as he handled things properly, he could defend himself against its assaults.
"Nine Shadow Flowing Light Sword!"
His figure split into nine shadows, attempting to deceive the Voidstep Razorhorn and maybe land a strike or two.
However, the Voidstep Razorhorn instantly shredded every shadow before they
could even act.
"Looks like this isn't going to be easy," Bai Zihan muttered.
It shouldn't have been easy from the beginning. The fact that he was still alive
could already be considered a miracle.
But Bai Zihan didn't rely survive-he had taken all of the Voidstep Razorhorn's attacks and erged unscathed.
This obviously didn't go unnoticed.
"This Bai Zihan... he's fighting a Grade-10 Demonic Beast!"
"I thought he'd die in seconds, but the Voidstep Razorhorn still hasn't landed a
single hit!"
"Damn! Isn't Bai Zihan only in the Spirit Severing Realm? How can he even see the Voidstep Razorhorn's attacks?"
The shock was imnse. Compared to Bai Zihan killing Grade-9 Demonic Beasts, this was on an entirely different level.
One had to understand: aside from experts in the Immortal Realm, Grade-10 Demonic Beasts and Great Ascension Realm cultivators were the strongest existences in the Desolate Heaven Empire.
Almost every top clan or sect leader resided at that level. Yet Bai Zihan-who
wasn't even a proper adult-was already fighting their equivalent.
This wasn't re genius. It exceeded everything they had ever known.
Bai Tianheng and the other Bai Clan mbers were frantically worried and
stunned.
They even stopped trying to break away from their opponents to rush over and
help Bai Zihan.
"Hahaha... that's my son!"
Bai Tianheng laughed-partly out of relief, partly from overwhelming pride.
He rembered how Bai Zihan had survived against Gou You, soone on par
with Bai Ren.
But even so, he couldn't completely calm down. Bai Zihan's opponent was still a Grade-10 Demonic Beast.
But at the very least, he realized his son wouldn't fall as easily as he had feared. However, the Hellridge Basilisk still refused to let Bai Tianheng go. "Hmph! It seems you Demonic Beasts are hell-bent on killing my son. But you
should know-it won't be easy."
Bai Tianheng snarled.
On the other side, Bai Zihan continued his battle with the Voidstep Razorhorn.
He noticed several Bai Clan Elders-at the Void Refinent Realm-trying to
reach him.
"Stay back. You'll only get in my way," Bai Zihan ordered.
He understood that against the Voidstep Razorhorn, numbers ant nothing.
It could kill dozens of Void Refinent Realm cultivators before anyone even
blinked.
They would only end up as casualties.
Unlike them, Bai Zihan was confident his body could withstand several rounds
even if he took a direct hit.

The Bai Clan Elders froze upon hearing his command, unsure of what to do.
They had been prepared to risk their lives to bring Bai Zihan out alive.
But now... he was fighting the Voidstep Razorhorn without any issue.
If they interfered, they truly might beco burdens. They understood that.
And it seed like Bai Zihan could escape anyti he wanted.
In the end, they obeyed his order-but they didn't retreat. Instead, they turned to fight the other Demonic Beasts that might try to assist
the Voidstep Razorhorn.
"Looks like you and I are going to be stuck together for quite a while!"
