The battlefield tilted decisively.

The Demonic Forces had lost too many Great Ascension Realm cultivators. Moreover, unlike before-when Heaven's Mandate Reversal had left him drained and forced out of the battle-Bai Zihan remained fully capable of fighting.

The Desolate Heaven Empire now held the overwhelming advantage. Demonic Qi thinned across the battlefield.

Yet despite this-

Everyone knew.

The true deciding factor had never been the Great Ascension Realm.

It was the Immortals.

High above the battlefield, where space warped and laws scread under pressure, the clash between Immortal existences continued to tear at the heavens themselves.

That was where victory would truly be decided.

And just as many braced themselves for a prolonged, brutal stalemate-like the last great war-

Sothing changed.

"Fate Severing Slash!"

The Half-Qilin's pupils shrank to pinpoints.

The mont Bai Ren spoke those words, it felt like it-

Not power exploding outward-

But sothing far more terrifying.

Bai Ren swung.

The sword moved cleanly, simply-yet the mont the slash left the blade, the world split.

A pale-white arc carved through the sky, cutting through space, demonic flas, and intent alike.

At that exact mont-

Bai Chu's eyes sharpened.

Seeing Bai Ren reveal the technique, he moved without hesitation.

If Bai Ren knew it-then Mó Zun would already assu he did as well which was the correct assumption.

The elent of surprise was already gone.

So Bai Chu chose decisiveness instead.

He did not wait for the perfect opening.

He accumulated Qi-

Almost simultaneously.

Mó Zun's pupils shrank.

Just as his attention was drawn by the massive surge of Qi from Bai Ren's direction, Bai Chu struck as well-leaving him no ti to even register surprise.

Bai Chu raised his sword.

"Fate Severing Slash!"

The heavens trembled a second ti.

A cold, rciless arc descended toward Mó Zun, severing space, intent, and causality itself.

Mó Zūn's expression finally darkened.

He abandoned offense instantly, Demonic Qi erupting as layers of defense unfolded one after another.

Two Fate Severing Slashes.

Almost simultaneous.

One against the Half-Qilin.

One against Mó Zün.

The world scread.

Qi erupted, vast and absolute, tearing through the heavens in pale-gold arcs that seed to cut through it.

Space split cleanly in their wake, laws unraveling as the slashes descended with judgntal finality.

Neither of them had mastered the technique.

They were not even at beginner mastery.

Yet it was still a Saint-Grade Technique.

Even at half-mastery, it was far more powerful than any Heaven-Grade technique in existence.

Bai Zihan's mastery might have been superior-

But in terms of raw power, Bai Ren and Bai Chu stood far above him. And that clearly showed in their Fate Severing Slash.

The twin slashes descended.

Sound vanished as sword Qi cleaved downward-not exploding, but erasing, as

if fate itself had been cut from the world.

The Half-Qilin was hit first.

It roared-an instinctive, furious cry-bringing both forearms up in a desperate

block, demonic flas surging wildly.

The Fate Severing Slash passed through its guard without resistance.

Its arms were severed cleanly at the shoulders, demonic blood spraying into

the void as space itself peeled apart behind the strike.

The slash did not stop.

It carved onward, tearing through scales, flesh, and bone, the force of it ripping

a deep, horrifying gash across the Half-Qilin's body.

The slash did not cleave it in two-but it ca terrifyingly close, the residual

Sword Qi tearing through its torso and leaving its massive body split by a

wound that refused to heal.

RRRWWWRRR!

The Half-Qilin crashed downward, its roar breaking into a hoarse, agonized

scream as its aura collapsed violently.

Demonic Qi leaked uncontrollably from the mutilated body, its regeneration

completely suppressed.

...

It did not die-

But it was crippled.

At the sa ti- Mó Zun was struck.

The mont the Fate Severing Slash descended, his pupils contracted violently.

He did not hesitate.

A High-Grade Heaven Defensive Artifact erupted in front of him, layers of runes unfolding like a collapsing star as Demonic Qi poured into it without

restraint.

BOOM-!!!

The artifact shattered.

Runes disintegrated one after another, defensive layers collapsing in a cascade

of violent backlash.

The artifact absorbed most of the slash-

But not all.

Mó Zun was flung backward, blood spraying from his mouth as his body

slamd through distorted space.

He barely stabilized himself, breathing heavily, chest heaving violently.

His armor was torn open.

Across his chest-

A deep, scratch burned, sword intent still lingering like a curse.

Mó Zün stared at it.

Cold sweat seeped down his spine.

(If I had hesitated for even a second... If that artifact were weaker...)

He would already be dead.

He looked up.

And his gaze landed on the Half-Qilin.

The once-dominant supre beast lay mangled, its arms gone, body nearly

bisected, aura in utter disarray.

It could no longer fight as it had before.

Not even close.

Mó Zún frowned.

And then-

Following Bai Ren and Bai Chu's lead, other Bai Clan Immortals moved.

"Fate Severing Slash!"

The heavens scread again.

One Demonic Immortal-facing Bai Yui-was struck head-on.

There was no escape.

The slash erased him completely, body and soul torn apart as space folded

inward and collapsed.

The other two Demonic Immortals who faced Bai Qingshan and Bai Ruhong

barely survived.

One lost half his torso.

The other was severed from shoulder to waist, barely clinging to life as his aura

flickered like a dying fla.

The battlefield fell into stunned silence.

Too many Immortals had fallen or received serious injuries in a single

exchange.

This was no longer a battle.

It was an execution.

The Desolate Heaven Empire's force celebrated while the Demonic Force

couldn't help but be in panic.

Their strongest was losing whether it be Great Ascension Realm or Immortal

Realm Elders.

They no longer see a path of victory for themselves.

Mó Zun clenched his fist slowly, breathing heavily, eyes cold and calculating.

(It's over!)

Even if they continued-

The outco would not change.

The Demonic Forces had lost their trump cards.

Mó Zun took a heavy breathe and glared at Bai Chu.

"Keke... Bai Chu, just where did you get all these treasures? This technique

wasn't Heaven-Grade, was it?"

Mó Zün muttered.

He was referring to the Saint-Grade sword in Bai Ren's hand-and the

technique that had nearly ended him.

He knew.

From its power alone, the technique was undeniably Saint-Grade Technique.

"Who knows?"

Bai Chu replied calmly, offering no explanation.

"You are lucky. Very lucky," Mó Zün said, admitting defeat at last.

"This is your victory!"

Even so, Bai Chu did not let his guard down.

Until Mó Zün's head rolled- There was no such thing as safety.

"Celebrate today's victory while you can," Mó Zun said coldly.

"Next ti when we et again-your Bai Clan will face its end!"
