"Weakness?" Monica was montarily dazed. Did Justin Kingston have a weakness?
"His weakness is Mia Lane," Anton Miller was confident in his judgnt.
Yet it pierced Monica’s heart. She collected herself from her disappointnt, "Did you deliberately approach Mia Lane? To provoke him?"
"Don’t get involved in my business," Anton Miller seed to have his own plan.
Monica smiled slightly, taking a full five seconds to digest this fact, "Though I also don’t want them together, what can you gain from this?"
"A sense of joy. I enjoy seeing him displeased." Anton answered directly, "If he ends up with you, I’ll find a way to have you too." As his words faded, he turned his gaze, looking at her with a mischievous air.
"..." Monica paused.
"Don’t interfere, Monica," he still showed her a bit of respect, "My existence as Anton Miller is solely to make him miserable; that’s my only purpose in life."
"Anton, you’re sick."
"Perhaps," he snorted coldly, "But that’s because of their Kingston family." After speaking, he turned and walked away.
The figure receded into the distance, leaving Monica standing there for a long ti.
She thought of Mia Lane, and then of Anton Miller. Suddenly, a terrifying thought sprang up in her mind—
If Anton Miller tainted Mia Lane, would Justin Kingston still want her?
If this were reported in the dia, would the face of the Kingston family still be preserved?
Would Mrs. Kingston still approve of Mia Lane?
So... Anton Miller’s existence might not just be about making Justin Kingston miserable; perhaps he was helping her, Monica, too!
Justin Kingston and Mia Lane returned to Erald Cove.
After the children pulled Mia Lane upstairs, Butler Shelby inford Justin Kingston of Mrs. Kingston’s visit last night.
"Stayed overnight here?" Justin Kingston was surprised.
The butler nodded, "Yes, she slept in the children’s room with the kids."
"Was there any unpleasantness?"
"Mrs. Kingston seems to really like the children. At first, she was a bit resistant, but later she was won over by them, and when she left this morning, she was reluctant to part."
Justin Kingston said, "Such matters need to be reported imdiately. My mother’s emotions are unstable; it’s not suitable for her to be around the children for long."
"Understood."
Ten days later—
Sunshine Village, beneath the old locust tree at the bridge.
"Eve, this color needs to be lighter. It’s not pretty when it’s too intense."
"Kay, this leaf would look better if it’s thinner, though what you did is nice too."
"No rush, we have plenty of ti today. Who else hasn’t gotten ink? I can mix it!"
Anton Miller, dressed casually, navigated through the children with his palette. Today marked his tenth day teaching art classes to the kids.
Because Mia Lane still owed ten classes, ever since Justin Kingston forcibly took her away, she had not returned.
These ten days in the village were the happiest days of Anton Miller’s life, and his smile the most radiant.
Spending ti with these left-behind children gave him many insights into life.
"Anton, look at my painting. Should I add a frog as an embellishnt?"
He walked over, examined it carefully, "Painting should be spontaneous. Draw whatever you want!"
"Okay!"
He had voluntarily made up the missed classes for the children, and in just ten days, Anton Miller had developed a deep friendship with them.
His relationship with Jonah Woods was not as strained as before, because during these ten days, he had forced himself to stay in the bamboo house!
On the tenth day, the children ca to the bamboo house to bid him farewell.
Jonah Woods packed Anton Miller’s clothes, suddenly feeling a bit reluctant, "Will you co back after you leave?"
"Why?" Anton Miller leaned against the cherry blossom tree, arms crossed, mischievously asking, "You’ll miss ?"
Jonah Woods actually blushed and quickly avoided his gaze.
"When is your master coming?"
"On the way, possibly today."
"Hmm." He had his own plans, "Then I better leave, don’t want to get caught by her husband and embroil in trouble."
He took the suitcase from Jonah Woods, "I’m leaving! Don’t miss !"
Shortly after Anton Miller left, Mia Lane returned to the bamboo house, brought by a driver; Justin Kingston hadn’t co.
"Master," Jonah said, "Anton Miller just left!"
