Sean Dalton didn’t know what kind of mood she was in when she returned to her room. She locked the door behind her, with only one thought in her mind—
"I absolutely must not let Stella Dalton co back!"
"I absolutely must not let them, the father and daughter, reunite!"
If that happens, the truth about Stella Dalton’s disappearance will be known to David Dalton, and the good days for her and her mother would truly be over.
Analyzing Dad’s recent behavior, Mia Lane hasn’t revealed the truth yet.
Otherwise, what father can endure this?
He would have kicked them out long ago!
So now it’s a situation where Joan Graham and Sean Dalton both know about this, but they don’t know that the other knows.
So they’re both particularly eager to notify each other!
Joan Graham was on her way back, unable to resist dialing Sean Dalton’s number, and at that mont, Sean Dalton was also about to call her mother.
"Hello, Mom, I have sothing to tell you."
"Listen, Sean, I have sothing important to tell you!"
They both paused, then simultaneously asked, "What is it?"
Understanding each other’s urgency, Sean Dalton let her speak first. After a mont, Joan Graham asked, "Where are you?"
"I’m at ho."
"Wait for , don’t go anywhere." Joan instructed, "I’ll be ho in five minutes."
Holding the phone, listening to the busy tone on the other end, Sean Dalton also realized the seriousness of the situation.
Is it really that bad?
No room left for maneuver?
For a mont, her heart truly panicked!
Those five minutes felt as long as a century!
In the taxi, Joan Graham cald herself, thinking—
Once Mia Lane returns, The Dalton Group is even less likely to be handed over to Sean.
Before David Garcia recognizes her, Mia Lane must disappear completely!
A mother will stop at nothing to protect her child!
At this mont, at The Dalton Group.
Mia Lane had just seen Joan Graham and returned to the company lobby, her expression calm as if nothing had happened.
Not far away, David Garcia stepped out of the elevator and imdiately saw her. Originally heading to the reception room, he paused for a mont because he was waiting for Mia Lane.
As Mia walked, she noticed his gaze on her.
She couldn’t help but smile slightly and quickened her pace, "Hello, President Dalton."
"Where did you go?" David showed concern.
She casually made up a reason, "A friend happened to pass by and insisted I co downstairs for a mont. We’ve planned a weekend excursion together."
David nodded kindly, "I thought you went shopping. If you need anything, just tell Trevor to get it for you. Don’t go looking blindly yourself."
"I understand. Thank you, President Dalton."
As the two spoke face to face, not far away, a man was secretly taking photos with his phone.
His sneaky behavior was noticed by Trevor, who had just arrived. Trevor’s brow furrowed as he instinctively moved toward the man.
The man noticed soone approaching, quickly put away his phone, and turned to leave!
"Stop!"
Trevor quickened his pace. Seeing the man not stopping, he was certain there was a problem with this person!
"Stop him!"
At Trevor’s shout, the security at the gate imdiately reacted, blocking the path.
This scene also caught the attention of David and Mia.
With swift and agile movents, Trevor, like a leopard, grabbed the man’s arm in just a few moves and pulled it back forcefully!
"Ouch—ouch! It hurts!"
The man was not only restrained but also cried out in pain!
"Hand over the phone!" Trevor’s eyes were deep and piercing.
The man feigned ignorance, "Wha-what phone? I didn’t steal a phone!"
At this ti, David and Mia were walking towards them.
"I didn’t say you stole a phone." Trevor’s eyes, beneath his thick brows, shimred with sharp coldness, "I saw you taking photos. What were you secretly photographing?"
Mia was slightly startled, photos?
Soone had just shown her so photos.
She seed to have a guess in her mind, so she softly said, "Take him to the lounge, I have sothing to ask him."
