Joan saw her daughter walking over as she slamd the car door shut.

"Where’s Ethan?" Joan’s eyes widened, "Didn’t you bring him back?"
Sean stopped in her tracks, puzzled, "Didn’t he co back on his own?"
The mother and daughter exchanged looks. Joan was speechless, "Does he have the brains to find his way back on his own?"
Butler Warren stomped anxiously—
"Miss, I saw the young master following you out. I thought you would bring him with you!"
"How co you didn’t bring him back with you? What if he gets lost?"
"No!" Sean only worried for a mont, then imdiately distanced herself from the situation, "I didn’t take him! He went out by taxi on his own!"
Joan urgently turned her by the shoulders, "Did you actually see him or not?"
Sean didn’t answer, which was as good as admitting it.
Joan raised her hand and slapped Sean’s face, "Are you crazy? You know he’s ntally challenged, and you didn’t make sure to keep an eye on him! What if he gets lost?! He’s your brother!"
"Mom, you hit ?"
Sean also felt wronged, staring at her defiantly, "Why hit ? I didn’t do anything wrong! It’s Butler Warren who didn’t watch him properly! When did I ever take him out?!"
Butler Warren lowered her eyes.
Joan was so anxious that she was about to cry, "If anything happens to Ethan, the two of us won’t be able to survive in the Dalton family as outsiders!"
Listening to her mother, Sean cald down a bit.
Joan said, "He is David Garcia’s biological son, and David cares for him. I’m Ethan’s mother; no matter what, David wouldn’t kick out!"
"And you are my daughter! Naturally, he wouldn’t do anything to you!" Joan was speechless, "But now you’ve actually lost your brother! He is our only trump card!"
Upon hearing her mother’s words, Sean suddenly beca nervous, "What do we do now?"
"Where did you last see him?" Joan cald down, "Check the surveillance! We have to find him before your father gets off work!"
Sean reassured herself, "As long as nothing unexpected happens with his intelligence, no one would adopt him, not even human traffickers."
With that, she hurriedly dialed a number, frantically instructing soone to find Ethan Dalton, providing the last known address and a photo.
While they frantically searched for three fruitless hours, everyone was growing more anxious as it was getting dark.
And David Dalton was about to finish work.
