"Dad..." Sean Dalton’s emotions were complex, forcing a smile and summoning the courage to ask, "Who exactly is coming to our ho tomorrow?" Eating with us is fine, but they’ll be staying here too.
Joan Graham picked up her chopsticks and instinctively glanced at the middle-aged man beside her. Is it Mia Lane?

So she locked the door and slid her finger across the screen to accept the call.
"Sean Dalton, the breach of contract penalty for the advertisent is seven hundred thousand. Before noon tomorrow, you must transfer it to my account; otherwise, I’ll sue you."
The caller was a man, speaking without room for negotiation.
"I didn’t breach the contract! I can shoot the ad!" Sean Dalton was furious, "It was you who abruptly dropped , and now you want to pay? If you keep playing like this, wouldn’t you be raking in a fortune without selling products at all?"

After taking five such calls, she decided to turn off the phone!
"Money, money, money, where am I supposed to get that much money?" She fussed about the bedroom in a panic, like an ant on a hot pan.
Then, a past scene flashed in her mind.
That day, her mother had dressed up and gone out; in curiosity, she had followed her all the way to an abandoned bridge.
She overheard Mr. Jennings telling her mother—
"The Dalton family heirloom treasure is invaluable; I’ve got the map, and I know the general location. All we need now is a key."

Sean Dalton sat down on the edge of the bed, muttering to herself. She rembered that her dad had half of the jade pendant, placed in the study.
And as her mother had said, the other half was taken by Stella Dalton.
So, by getting the jade pendant, one could claim the treasure. According to Mr. Jennings, the treasure was worth not just three billion but close to ten billion.
But where is the treasure located? Sean Dalton knew nothing.

Joan Graham’s eyes widened, clenching her teeth, "Are you crazy?! Of all tis, you’re thinking about that! The first priority now is to get rid of Stella Dalton! Once she’s dead, the inheritance is all ours!"
