Justin Kingston and Mia Lane, along with Trevor, stepped out of the elevator.
They imdiately saw the scene unfolding outside the ergency room—
"David, I don’t care if you’re a doctor," Joan Graham said with a determined tone, "but tonight, no matter what, I won’t let you leave!"
She held onto him with all her might, still wanting to challenge Stella Dalton deep down!
Joan Graham cried out, "Stella Dalton is your daughter, and so is Sean Dalton! She bears the Dalton na! She’s been called the eldest daughter of the Dalton family for 20 years!"
But as soon as Joan spoke, she accidentally glanced up and saw Mia not far away, flanked by two n with sinister looks!
Joan’s throat tightened suddenly!
Trevor is out too? Wasn’t he taken away by the police?
Joan collided with Trevor’s cold gaze, and the fear in her made her chest jolt! She couldn’t help but feel guilty.
David Dalton noticed her sudden calmness, feeling puzzled, and followed her gaze, only to find that his daughter and son-in-law had arrived, and Trevor was there too.
Mia Lane took a step towards Joan Graham.
Joan beca increasingly nervous, feeling quite anxious.
Mia’s cold eyes rested on her tear-streaked face, showing no pity, only disgust!
"Joan Graham, you tried to harm , but those foolish thugs accidentally hurt Sean Dalton. Don’t you think this is karma?" Mia asked softly.
David Dalton was utterly shocked upon hearing this!
Joan was dumbfounded, "What are you talking about? I don’t understand!"
"Even if you don’t understand, you have to listen!" Mia’s eyes darkened as she emphasized her words, "Are you really crying wolf? Blaming Trevor for it? Aren’t you afraid of divine punishnt, letting Sean Dalton die on the operating table?!"
Boom!!
The sky’s lightning was like a fiery serpent, followed by a deafening thunder!
Joan was now terrified! Almost scared to death by Mia’s curse!
"You... you..." Seeing David’s face change drastically, Joan stubbornly stiffened her neck, releasing her husband’s hand, and furiously pointed at Mia, "Don’t slander ! Do you have any evidence?!"
Justin Kingston and Trevor both shook their heads, this woman really wouldn’t shed a tear until she saw the coffin, her psychological resilience is impressive.
"Evidence?" Mia sneered, taking out her phone, "Can the ssage you sent this afternoon serve as evidence?"
Joan’s confidence faltered, sothing flickered in her eyes.
"If not." Mia glared coldly at her without a shred of sympathy, "Then can this car serve as evidence?"
Seeing the license plate on her phone, Joan’s eyes were filled with astonishnt!
"Don’t worry, the car owner is already being tracked down, and there’ll be news soon." Mia stared at her coldly, "Mrs. Graham, this is the last ti I’ll call you Mrs. Graham, considering you’ve taken care of my dad all these years, so I want to remind you, what goes around cos around."
At this mont, the elevator doors opened again, and six policen erged!
Seeing this, Joan was scared out of her wits! She instinctively turned to flee, but the policen were swift, in a flash they dashed over and restrained her.
"Let go of ! Let go!" Joan scread, struggling frantically.
The police twisted her arms behind her back, and shiny handcuffs clamped down on her wrists, and Joan lost her freedom from then on!
"Stella Dalton, you bitch!" Joan glared at Mia, cursing, "You’ll die a miserable death!"
Mia stepped forward a few steps, raised her hand, and slapped her in the face!
Slap—!
The sound was crisp! It skewed her face and shocked everyone present!
Mia scolded angrily, "Repent in prison for the rest of your life! And from now on, pray for Sean Dalton every mont! Pray she doesn’t end up half-dead!"
Seeing her father’s temples turn gray, thinking that Ethan Dalton wasn’t his child, this humiliation made Mia furious!
She wished she could handle her personally!
