"Okay." Mia Lane smiled slightly, agreeing with him, "Please rest assured, CEO Kingston, I will definitely avoid Trevor in the future, OK?"
"Quickly finish your work here and co back to , dear." He smiled slightly, "Only then will I be at ease."

"Alright, let go, I’ve got to go."
At this mont, Mia Lane’s phone rang, with her hand still held by Justin Kingston.
She simply sat down in the passenger seat, took out her phone, glanced at the caller ID, and answered, "Hello, Hailey."
"Are you okay?" Hailey Hale’s worried voice ca through, "I heard you almost got beaten up last night?"
"I’m fine." Mia Lane assured her, "I’m a Taekwondo expert, it’s not easy to beat up."
"Did that mistakenly beaten Sean Dalton die?" Hailey Hale asked eagerly, with a hint of schadenfreude in her tone.
Mia Lane responded calmly, "He didn’t die, but the situation is sowhat bad."
"Quick, tell ! How bad?" Hailey was very expectant, truly malicious.
Mia Lane honestly inford her, "If he doesn’t wake up, he’s a vegetable; if he wakes up, he’ll be a psychiatric patient."
"..." Hailey Hale paused for a second, "Don’t save him! If your hands are itchy, save soone who needs your skills more!"
"Don’t worry, I won’t be involved with him."
"I’ve heard about everything between you two, why doesn’t the heavens just take her away?" Hailey Hale was indignant for her, "Dying would end it all!"
Mia Lane inquired softly, "Hailey, did you call for anything? Just to ask about Sean Dalton’s situation?"
"I haven’t seen you for a long ti, I kind of miss you. It’s almost Mid-Autumn Festival, should we have a picnic? Let’s invite Uncle Dalton too, as if to ward off bad luck."
"Sure." Mia Lane readily agreed to such a proposal, "How are things with Finn Morgan recently? Still doing well?"
"Sa as always, visiting my mom’s house more often, not staying at the new house much." Hailey Hale didn’t want to delay her, "We’ll get the list ready, you must join us when the ti cos!"
Hailey Hale sounded in much better spirits, and Mia Lane was glad, "Alright, thank you for the trouble."
She truly hoped Hailey could move on from her father’s imprisonnt soon and look forward to the future.
After hanging up, Mia Lane turned to Justin Kingston and said, "Gigi and Dolly are coming back for Mid-Autumn Festival. I plan to let the kids see their grandfather."
"That’s essential." Justin Kingston nodded, "You organize it however you want, we will fully cooperate."
"Hmm." She opened the car door, stepping one foot out, "Drive safely, I’m going up now."
"Rember to keep your distance from Trevor." He added as a final note.
Mia Lane couldn’t help but laugh, closing the car door, and waved as she walked towards the company lobby.
David Garcia was already preparing for the morning eting. Despite the major incident at the Dalton family last night, it didn’t seem to affect his mood at all.
He didn’t even bother to inquire about Sean Dalton’s life or death, as if he didn’t care at all.
Yes, thinking of the grievances Stella endured over these years, thinking of the separation of flesh and blood for twenty years, he deeply resented this mother and daughter, even more, he loathed himself, it was like inviting a wolf into the house.
