Mia Lane, running with David Dalton to the door, suddenly heard the man on the phone shout—
"Stop them for !"
A few people at the door imdiately blocked the way!
Mia and David abruptly halted, all sharp eyes were fixed on them, and the call continued.
Outside the door, Trevor agilely sidled to the wall!
"What do you an?!"
Mia released her father’s hand, stepped forward, and snatched the phone from the man’s hand, "Aren’t you keeping your word?!" Then she put it on speaker.
John Jennings’ unhurried voice ca through, "What if the jade pendant is fake?"
"It’s real!" Mia was speechless.
"Would you give it to so readily if it were real?" The man on the other end laughed, clearly not believing.
Mia emphasized, "Nothing is more important than my dad."
"Alright then." It seed John had been waiting for her words, "Have Justin Kingston prepare a hundred million, and I’ll let you both go."
David Dalton felt a sudden tightness in his chest, facing the cold and harsh gazes of several tall n, thinking that his daughter had also fallen into a trap, he was increasingly anxious.

"Stella!" David Dalton was extrely worried, "Be careful!" He refused to leave, staying by his daughter’s side, doing his best to protect her.
At this mont, Trevor spun around and ca in! With a punch, he knocked one down! A raised leg kicked another over!
A groan was heard as they fell to the ground, without any reaction.
"President Dalton, go!"
Trevor grabbed David Dalton’s arm, threw him to the door and released him.
Mia, while handling the situation, looked over at him, "Why did you co?"
"Couldn’t stop worrying about you." Trevor leaned on her back, pulling out a dagger, "You guys go first!"
The ones who were knocked down stood up, a fierce look on their faces, all clenching their fists.
Though Mia worried, she didn’t hesitate, "Be careful." Then, with the help of Trevor, who was a Taekwondo black belt, she quickly took her father through the door.
She pressed the elevator button, entering the elevator with her father.
Trevor was surrounded by them, fighting many with just himself, though his skills were decent, those n clearly regained their combat stance.
For a mont, Trevor couldn’t break free, with just a slight oversight, he might even be at a disadvantage.
And just then, as the elevator was descending, ten n in black rushed out from another elevator! They were called over by a phone call from John.
All rushed into the room, attacking Trevor with intent to harm!
Trevor was a bit overwheld, but not entirely out of his depth, he fought until he was a bit tired, sweating, and took a few punches.
"They ran! After them!" Soone suddenly shouted.
Six of them turned and rushed out, so quickly heading for the stairs, others pressing to open the elevator!
"Stella." The elevator reached the first floor, the doors opened, the hall was empty.
"Hurry!" Mia pulled her father and ran out.
David Dalton followed her, not causing her trouble, but said with great concern, "I’m worried about Trevor." Though they had left, his heart hadn’t.
