Vera Ford looked at the door for a long ti, a touch of lost sadness flashing in her eyes.
She slowly turned around, looking back at the empty room. Will she not even have another chance to visit his ho? Everything’s been taken out, did it have to be like this?

"Dr. Shelby, could you spray the dicine for once more?" Jocelyn sat at the edge of the bed, her hands supporting her sides, blinking as she looked at the man entering the room, "I want to be discharged."
Ian Shelby sat down in the chair in front of her, without saying a word he picked up her injured leg and placed it on his knee, applying specialized techniques to press on it, "Does it hurt?"
"It’s alright." She frowned a bit.
Ian looked up, catching her micro-expressions with a glance, and asked slightly sternly, "Does it hurt or not?" He pressed again.
"It doesn’t hurt." Her brows relaxed.
Ian took a dicine bottle out of the pocket of his white coat and sprayed it directly on her, "Later on, don’t ddle anymore, to avoid getting hit again."
Outside the door, Vera stopped in her tracks, Ian’s words fell into her ears.

Jocelyn’s leg injury was from soone hitting her?
"Matters of my best friend are my matters!" Jocelyn emphasized, "What else do you know besides treating patients? I wouldn’t call this ddling!"
Ian put away the dicine bottle, gently placed her foot down, glanced at her, "Heed the words of the elders, danger is close at hand!"
Jocelyn stood up, "Can I be discharged now?"
"Hmm." Ian had no unnecessary words.
At this mont, Vera ca in, "Ian, I forgot a piece of underwear hanging on the balcony, it wasn’t in my suitcase. Could you help take it down when you have the ti?"
This made Jocelyn, who was planning to leave, suddenly pause, she looked at him and then at her, seemingly understanding sothing.
And Vera, her eyes deliberately or inadvertently swept over Jocelyn, a slight curl to her lips with a hint of smugness, as if declaring her territory.
"You should get it yourself." Ian replied casually, "After all, your work for the afternoon has been arranged."

So, her lips curved slightly upwards, she looked at Ian, "Then I’ll go ho now." After speaking, her gaze lingered on Jocelyn for a second before leaving.
"So she was your little girlfriend." Jocelyn folded the quilt on the bed, "No wonder it’s not the sa last na, I thought she was your sister before."
Ian was checking the instrunts, asked, "Which eye of yours saw she was my little girlfriend?"
"Ear heard it." Jocelyn replied with a smile, "You live together?"
Ian said, "It’s obvious she’s moving out."
"Broke up?" Jocelyn found it strange, "Isn’t that awkward? Facing each other every day, truly loving people can’t be friends after breaking up."
Ian adjusted the instrunts, "The profound Chinese language is utterly inadequate in front of your imagination." With that, he turned and left.
"Tch!" Jocelyn also took a step outward, she was discharged.
