Jocelyn glanced over at Ian Shelby, waved at him with a smile, "I’m leaving now, Dr. Shelby!" Her voice was as lodious as a nightingale’s.
Trevor also nodded politely to Ian Shelby and then caught up with Jocelyn Morgan’s pace.
They walked side by side toward the door.
Ian Shelby stood still in the elevator, his eyes on the backs of the two, with a question lingering in his heart.
Vera Ford turned her gaze to him, observing his expression.
As the elevator doors were about to close automatically, Vera quickly pressed the open button, "Ian?" She called him back to reality.
Ian Shelby snapped out of it, glanced at Vera Ford, and stepped out.
Vera Ford quickly followed, walking beside him, occasionally glancing over, but from his handso face, nothing was revealed.
However, he seed completely unaware that Jocelyn had a boyfriend.
Not far away, Trevor opened the passenger door of the Maybach, and Ian Shelby watched as the girl sat inside with a radiant smile, his heart sinking slightly.
Trevor quickly got into the car as well, and soon it drove away.
Ian Shelby and Vera Ford reached the roadside, and he opened the passenger door for her.
Vera was very pleased, "Thank you." She flashed a sweet smile at him and slipped into the seat, a treatnt she was experiencing for the first ti.
Ian Shelby drove her back to the hospital, "Prepare yourself, take all the dical records for Bed 28 and give them to , I’ll perform the surgery myself, contact the family again."
"Ian, shall I assist you?" Vera Ford turned her gaze, "I don’t want you to take risks alone, this is a major surgery, and I also want to gain more experience."
Ian Shelby did not refuse, "Sure."

Before Jocelyn could answer, her phone rang in her bag, "Hold on a mont." She took it out, checked the caller ID, and answered, "Hey, Cecilia Dunn, you finally rembered , huh?"
"Jocelyn, I’m ho alone..." The girl on the other end of the phone said weakly, "Can you co keep company?"
"Are you sick?!" As her close friend, Jocelyn was very concerned about her unusual state.
"No." The girl on the other end of the phone murmured, "I’m just feeling down, haven’t eaten for several days."
Jocelyn sighed, "Have you reflected well lately? Made any progress at all? I can co, but I don’t want to hear another good word about Howard Sawyer!"
As Cecilia Dunn heard the na that occupied her entire youth, her heart began to ache again.
"Jocelyn, I’ll wait for you..." Her heart felt like it was being stabbed with needles, and then she hung up the phone, bursting into tears.
Jocelyn told Trevor, "Pull over up ahead and let out."
"Where are you going? I’ll take you." Trevor glanced at her seriously, "Going to see a friend, right?"

"I have a few things to do this afternoon, need to go to different places, maybe it’s on my way?" Trevor, high in EQ, replied in a warm voice, as if his words carried tenderness.
Hearing him say this, Jocelyn told him an address.
The Maybach began to turn around not far ahead, and Jocelyn apologized to him, "Drop off where it’s convenient for you, I’ll figure it out from there."
