The phone in her palm rang, and without much hope, she glanced at the caller ID—it was Ian Shelby calling!
She was montarily stunned, then hurried to answer, "Hello?" Her voice was small, but her mood instantly improved.
"Sorry, Jocelyn, I just saw your ssage." Ian’s first sentence was an explanation, "I was really busy today with two ergency cases."
"That must have been tough, right?" Jocelyn suddenly felt very sorry for him, not at all angry anymore.
"It’s okay, it’s a doctor’s duty."
"No matter how busy, you need to take care of yourself." She wished she could help him, "I can’t offer much help, do you have an assistant?"
"Yes." Ian asked straightforwardly, "Did you need sothing from ?"
