Until Ian Shelby parked the car in front of the villa’s courtyard, he unbuckled the seatbelt and sat in the driver’s seat for a mont, recalling Jocelyn’s innocent and lovely appearance. A slight smile appeared on his calm face.
He opened the door and got out of the car, only to realize that another car was parked behind him with its lights still on.

Ian glanced at the license plate and knew it was Vera Ford.
Soon after, the driver’s door opened, and Vera also got out of the car.
After closing the door properly, she t his gaze with so unease, not knowing why she followed, afraid he would be angry and strain their relationship further.
For a mont, her steps seed frozen. She stood there blankly, unsure of what to say to him.
Ian hadn’t expected her to follow him here; he knew it wasn’t work-related, but rather a personal emotional issue.

What on earth is happening??
Questions popped up one after another in their minds as they picked up their caras and started snapping pictures.
The wind suddenly rose in the courtyard.
The evening breeze tousled Vera’s hair and flipped Ian’s bangs, clearing their minds.
"Ian..." Vera placed her hands in her jacket pockets, fearing that if the silence continued, he’d turn around and go inside.
She bravely stepped forward, "Can we talk?"
"What do you want to talk about?" Ian seed to show little interest.
Vera looked at the beautiful villa and rembered the tis she used to live there.
Eating, sleeping, bathing here, really vivid mories.
She composed herself and, with a friendly tone, asked, "Can I co in for a cup of tea? Since I’m already here."
Ian didn’t delve into her thoughts; he just looked at her and then looked away, stepping toward the villa.
Vera followed him, every cell in her body contemplating what to say to him once inside.
The journalists hiding in the shadows were shocked!

Snap, snap, snap! Hurry and take pictures!
They adjusted their cara focus, taking several clear shots of the interaction in the courtyard and as they walked into the villa together.
Soon, in the brightly lit living room, the journalists saw two figures.
"What’s the situation here? Who exactly is Dr. Shelby’s girlfriend?"
"Didn’t he just send one away and now eting another? This is seamless transitioning!"
"The legendary heartbreaker? You really can’t tell."
"If this is true, Dr. Shelby’s image is ruined..."
"If they were discussing work, it wouldn’t be at night at ho, right?" Soone began to doubt, "Just the two of them, if this gets out..."
"Keep shooting, don’t worry about anything else, it’ll definitely make headlines tomorrow!"
"He’s my ideal; a genius doctor. Even though I’m a journalist, I really don’t want to see this side of him; sigh..."
A female journalist’s heartbroken voice spread through the courtyard. The scene in the house pierced her heart.
In the brightly lit, spacious living room.
Ian brewed a cup of tea and gently placed it on the coffee table in front of Vera, who sat on the sofa, at the spot she once occupied.
Vera regretted not seizing the opportunity during her ti living here, not taking advantage of her proximity.
"Go ahead, what’s the matter?" Ian sat across from her, asking very calmly.
Vera’s gaze fell on his handso, elegant face, "What do you like about Jocelyn Morgan?"
This question made Ian’s eyes flash sharply, looking at her as if saying there’s no need to report to you.
"I like the feeling she gives ." But he answered anyway.
