"Janelle, what’s happening over there?" Nathan Mills felt a tightening in his chest, as if he sensed sothing, and asked worriedly, "Are you in the car?"
The girl was shocked and looked at her mother. Seeing her mother’s face darken, she realized sothing too, and quickly said to her father, "I’m fine, I’m fine."
Then Nathan Mills laughed as if relieved. He was truly delighted!
"As long as you’re with Trevor, I’m at ease. All these years, your mother has always wanted to introduce boyfriends to you, trying to control your marriage, making feel nonexistent. Do you think won can judge n accurately? n can judge each other better. Darling, the boy I’ve introduced to you isn’t bad, right?"
Carlotta Sterling’s face flashed a subtle expression, and the next second, she turned the steering wheel around!
"Mom!!" Janelle Mills didn’t even care whether her father had finished talking; she hung up the phone. "Mom! Don’t turn back!"
Carlotta Sterling was simply furious!
So Trevor was introduced by Nathan Mills!!
"Mom!" The girl was anxious but didn’t dare to touch her hand holding the steering wheel, just urgently said, "Listen to ! We can’t just leave like this! Trevor has arranged this dinner amidst his busy schedule! He’s really busy!!"
Trevor was helping her; she couldn’t possibly stand him up, could she?
"Break up with him!! Imdiately! Right now!" Carlotta Sterling was especially angry, and even her voice was trembling!

Janelle didn’t say anything more; she directly opened the car door and got out.
Carlotta Sterling looked at her in shock, "What are you doing?" She saw her daughter standing by the roadside, operating her phone.
"What do you want to do? Janelle Mills, do you not care about my feelings at all?"
After a while, a taxi ca by, and the girl hailed it casually and got in without looking back.
Carlotta Sterling realized sothing was wrong, unbuckled her seatbelt, and hurriedly got out of the car, "Janelle!" But could only watch that car speed away!
She couldn’t stop it at all.
Standing outside the driver’s seat, Carlotta Sterling brushed her windswept hair back, feeling extrely depressed!
In the backseat of the taxi, Janelle turned her gaze to look out the car window. She felt a bit gloomy, never thinking that her parents’ relationship would affect her feelings.
She and Trevor were still far from anything serious; with Ethan’s help, things might improve, yet her mother strongly opposed it.
Her father was equally annoying, calling neither sooner nor later, but just when she was in the car!
At this mont, on the busiest street of Riventhal, in a certain five-star high-end restaurant, on the 58th floor, in a window-side private room with an excellent view, Trevor had arrived first.
He stood in front of the window, dressed in a black suit with a white shirt underneath, his tall and handso figure standing like a god.
