Justin Kingston’s fingers stiffened slightly as he took the docunt. He glanced at the woman not far away who was developing dicine, but he could only see her back.
He saw Ian Shelby using a handkerchief to wipe her hands. Did so dicine get spilled over?
This gesture... so glaring!
Monica Usher followed his gaze and was completely baffled by what she saw. What’s going on here?
When she looked back at Justin again, he had already withdrawn his gaze.
He lowered his eyes to review the docunt. No matter the angle, an attractive man possesses a unique look of handsoness.
Justin knew that the level of these docunts was sothing Finn Morgan could handle, and there was no need to bring them to the CEO. Monica’s little sches were as clear as day to him.
"What are they... doing here?" Monica curiously inquired, noting they looked like doctors.
Justin replied, "They’re developing dicine to treat my mom’s burns."
Monica stepped toward Ian Shelby and Cora Yates, a smile playing at the corners of her lips as she spoke in a hostess’s tone, "Thank you both, it’s tough work."
Mia Lane wore an expression of disdain under her mask. She altered her voice, "Who are you? Why do we need your thanks? Are you perhaps Mrs. Kingston?"
"..." Monica’s chest tightened, leaving her speechless and extrely embarrassed.
Ian stopped his work and turned, "President Usher, CEO Kingston has already thanked us, and we’re just doing our job for pay. There’s no need for your special thanks, just don’t disturb our work."
Hearing this, she felt even more awkward, but couldn’t let the smile fade from her face!
Thus, she returned with a smile to Justin’s desk, waiting for him to finish reviewing the docunt.
Monica Usher knew Ian, but who was the woman beside him? Why was she wearing a mask? She had many doubts.
Ultimately, she couldn’t help but ask, "Dr. Shelby, who is she?"
"She’s my ntor," Ian answered busily, "Her na is Cora Yates."
This startled her; his ntor is so young?
Bearing in mind that Ian had an impressive reputation in the dical field!
He was the youngest genius doctor who developed nurous dications benefitting humanity.
If he took an apprentice, that person would certainly be remarkable. For such a genius to have a ntor? Just how incredible must this ntor be?
Cora Yates? She’d have to search about her later.
In a black suit, black high heels, and a black mask, Monica was imdiately intimidated by this woman’s aura.
But she quickly regained her composure, looking brightly at the man in the office chair, "Justin, Auntie asked to stay for lunch here. Are you coming down later?"
"Okay," he agreed.
He actually agreed happily?
Mia’s hands paused slightly, but she was unaware that Justin was intentionally causing her distress to avenge her spending ti with Ian.
Monica was delighted, as he had agreed!
"I’ve signed it, you can go downstairs and chat with my mom for a while," Justin handed her the docunt, speaking in a gentle voice, "I need to handle a few emails."
"Alright!" She turned and left excitedly.
About half an hour later, it was lunchti.
Monica personally went upstairs to fetch Justin, "Justin, are you done? It’s ti for lunch." Her voice was sweet and gentle, fully displaying her femininity.
Listening made Mia feel uneasy!
"I don’t need to eat, I just had a nutrient injection," he said, closing his laptop, "but I can chat with you all, let’s go."
His manner was so good it made Monica wonder if he had completely fallen out with Mia?
Listening to their footsteps fade behind her, Mia couldn’t understand how he could have such a good attitude toward Monica?
The downstairs dining area was bright throughout, with glass walls creating a sense of transparency.
The long white dining table was lavishly set, with Indonesian bird’s nest soup specially placed in front of Monica by Kristina Kingston.
"Thank you, Auntie," she was flattered and taken aback.
A wild ginseng worth millions was served, the fresh salmon never frozen offered exceptional texture, alongside crab roe, sea urchin caviar, sirloin steak, and reindeer at, all top-notch ingredients.
Justin sat in the dining chair, his deep-set eyes inspecting the abundant spread, revealing Monica’s standing in his mother’s eyes.
"Auntie, can you move a bit?" Gigi ca over holding Dolly’s hand, "Can you not sit next to Daddy?"
