"You’ve had a long day, you should rest early." Trevor turned around to put down the dicine bottle and said to her, "Tonight, you sleep on the bed, and I’ll take the sofa."
His voice was gentle, and his tone was relaxed, giving her a sense of security at that mont.
He added, "Don’t worry, I won’t leave this room. I’ll stay with you, so sleep peacefully."
Janelle Mills was indeed exhausted. She shifted her body, lifted the blanket, and got into bed. She was really tired after the whole day’s hassle.
Seeing her lie down, Trevor turned off the main light in the room.
Janelle lay on her side, watching him open the glass door and step onto the balcony alone.
She thought to herself, he must be feeling terrible, right?
The balcony light was on, and the curtains were drawn open. From her position, Janelle could see his tall figure leaning against the railing.
She knew that he must be worried about Jocelyn, and at this mont, her heart felt strange.
Janelle couldn’t help but recall the last ti she t Jocelyn. Trevor took her to the hospital to see Ethan, and it was her first visit there.
As soon as they got out of the elevator, they encountered that girl, who was gentle and graceful with a warm smile, leaving a deep impression on Janelle.

But Trevor had no interest in appreciating the night view. He was praying, praying for Jocelyn’s safety.
A cool breeze blew in, and he couldn’t help but cough lightly, covering his mouth with one hand.
On the adjacent balcony, Vera Ford furrowed her brow slightly, focusing her attention. Could it be that Ian Shelby had returned?
She sat there with a teacup for a few seconds before realizing that Ian lived on the other side. Her heart relaxed a bit.
But she still put down the teacup, got up, walked to the other side, leaned on the railing, and peered over to the adjacent balcony, which was pitch black.
She couldn’t help but chuckle, thinking that Jocelyn must be dead, and Ian must be feeling guilty. But after his breakdown, he would need to start a new life.
She would give him enough ti, believing that he and Jocelyn hadn’t been together for long, and their feelings weren’t deep.
Forgetting soone completely is also a simple thing.
"Jocelyn will be okay."
Vera was slightly startled and suddenly turned her eyes towards the other side where the lights had just co on. A woman’s voice ca through!
And she ntioned Jocelyn!!
Vera pricked up her ears, her expression turning cold and sharp!
On the other side of the wall, Janelle draped a coat over Trevor, hearing his cough, she quickly got out of bed.
Trevor turned his eyes at the sound, looking at her with gentle eyes, "..."
"Let’s pray for Jocelyn together." Janelle raised her eyes, her usually bright eyes filled with sincerity.
Hearing this, Vera felt a burst of glee in her heart. If they needed to pray, it ant they hadn’t found her!
Not drowning would be a surprise, given so much ti had passed!
Trevor turned around, placing his hands on Janelle’s shoulders with concern, asking, "Why aren’t you asleep yet?" He looked down at her feet, "You need to rest, don’t walk anymore." With that, he scooped her up in his arms.
