His presence enveloped her, and Mia Lane closed her eyes.
She had never loved anyone like this in her life; Justin Kingston was the first, so she cherished this feeling deeply.
Hours later, Justin returned to his bedroom. When he opened the drawer, he inadvertently noticed two nutrition vials were missing, including the matching intravenous injectors.
As a group manager, it’s impossible for his mory to be wrong. Justin was particularly sensitive to data.

Justin turned and left, heading straight for the pharmaceutical research lab.

Upon hearing footsteps, she turned and saw him. "Aren’t you going to the company?"
"Did you inject the nutrition vials?" Justin approached her. "Why?"
Mia didn’t hide it. "It was ." Her mind raced, and she smiled charmingly. "I was testing to see if it worked well, if it really stands up to hunger. If it doesn’t, I’ll develop sothing else for you."
He asked again, "And the conclusion? Is it quite good?"
Seeing he had no suspicions, she smiled with her eyes forming crescents, "Things created by my apprentice are usually pretty good."
With a turn, Justin leaned back against the edge of the table and glanced sideways at her profile. She began to refocus on drug research, her lips curved into a smile, as serene and beautiful as the flowers in the yard, srizing him.
Looking at her deeply like that, Justin fell for her once again.
"By the way, you shouldn’t work here anymore," Mia found a suitable reason. "On the day you all go to Aeridia, I’ll have Ian Shelby return, so there’s no need for you to supervise us, go back to the company!"
He preferred seeing her over monitoring her, knowing fully well that there was no foul play between her and Ian, yet he couldn’t help but feel jealous.
"No, I won’t." He sounded like a child.
"You need to listen to on this." Mia turned, explaining the seriousness of the situation, "With you here, I get distracted, and I worry you’ll be distracted too. I need to fully dedicate myself to developing each stage of the drugs; I can’t delay anymore. Right now is the optimal ti for your mother’s skin rejuvenation."
He thought about it seriously, "Then I’ll stay here at night, I want to sleep with you."
Mia shook her head, "That won’t do either."
"Why?!" he protested, "Do I have to listen to you for everything?"
She stood firm in front of him, looking him in the eyes and analyzing earnestly, "Sleeping with you would affect my research state the next day; I really need to concentrate on studying. As for us, well, there’s always tomorrow."
"..." Justin felt a bit dejected.
Mia stood on tiptoe, placing her hands on his shoulders, "I am the doctor you hired for a billion yen, surely you wouldn’t want distracted? If the drugs encountered issues or adverse reactions, I couldn’t bear the bla."
What she said made perfect sense.
Looking at her deeply like that, her eyes were truly beautiful, gentle yet alluring.
Justin couldn’t help but clasp her nape again, kissing her uncontrollably; today he seed enchanted by her lips.
At the door, Kristina Kingston stood firm, glaring at the scene inside, with blue light flashing deep in her eyes.

Justin took a couple of steps, paused slightly upon seeing the person at the door, then proceeded towards her.
Kristina’s face returned to her usual neutral expression.
