"Hailey?" She was shocked, initially stepping in to help when she saw injustice, only to find it was an encounter with an acquaintance.
At this mont, Justin Kingston also got out of the car and walked towards the alley entrance, imdiately catching sight of the scene.
The group of n stood up in a disheveled state, none with the urge for revenge. This woman was too formidable; they were no match.
Upon seeing the cold glint in Mia Lane’s flowing eyes, their legs quivered.
"Speak, who sent you?" Mia Lane helped Hailey Hale up, glaring coldly at the four, "Why bully her?"
"A woman outside the bridal shop gave us so money to hit her and said if we could take pictures as evidence, we could get more money the next day. We don’t know who she is."
"Yeah, yeah, if you’re looking for soone, find her. It’s got nothing to do with us."
The n quickly escaped after speaking!
The words ’bridal shop’ rang clearly in Justin Kingston’s ears. His deep, sharp eyes filled with a layer of frost as he recalled the call from his mother earlier.
Monica Usher was trying on wedding dresses there, and the revenge she must want was for the humiliation at the western restaurant that day.
Justin Kingston’s gaze grew colder.
"Hailey, are you okay?" Mia Lane was very worried about her. "You should go to the hospital."
"I’m fine, I’m fine." Hailey Hale hugged her tightly. "I’ve been desperately looking for you! Did you hide on purpose? If Justin hadn’t said you were in Riventhal, I’d have thought you left in anger!"
"Justin?" Mia Lane was bewildered and pushed her away.
The man nearby quickly ducked out of sight but strained his ears to listen.
Hailey Hale patted the dust off her clothes. "Yeah, he ca looking for ."
"He rembers you?"
"No." She shook her head. "He doesn’t rember. One day, I was eating at a western restaurant and saw him with Monica Usher. I got so angry that I rushed over to sha them. He might have investigated my address to inquire about you."
"..." Upon hearing this, Mia Lane’s heart contracted slightly. "What did you say?"
"He told he has amnesia." Hailey Hale asked, "Did you know about this?"
Mia Lane’s eyes reflected a trace of gloom. "Yes, I know."
"Did you know he had a car accident?"
"...Yes, I know."
Not far away, Justin Kingston leaned against the wall, feeling a stab of pain in his heart.
Of course, she knew; she had appeared outside the ergency room. But before he was out of danger, she had run off with another man...
This strange feeling was actually jealousy, though Justin Kingston hadn’t realized it.
"What’s really going on between you guys?" Hailey Hale asked worriedly. "If the misunderstanding isn’t clarified, he will get married! Haven’t you seen the news?"
"There is no misunderstanding between us." Mia Lane smiled gently. "He should marry Monica Usher." Then her gaze rested on Hailey. "Who did you offend? Why did she have soone attack you?"
"Offend..." The young girl thought for a mont. "Monica Usher. Aside from her, there shouldn’t be anyone else. Bridal shop entrance? She’s trying on wedding dresses today?"
"You must be careful in the future, and take a bodyguard when going out." Mia Lane advised. "No need to stand up for anymore. It was my fault for leaving Justin initially."
Upon hearing this, Justin Kingston clenched the fist hanging at his side.
"I’m lucky. I didn’t even bring a bodyguard yet ran into you, right?" Hailey Hale held her hand. "Justin doesn’t like Monica Usher. He seed very down that day. I felt he was quite lonely; he might not want to get married."
"Let’s not talk about him." Mia Lane changed the subject. "Co on, let’s go have a cup of coffee."
"Great!" Hailey Hale was very happy. "It’s fine if you avoid him; just don’t lose touch with all of us! It made worry for so long!"
Justin Kingston didn’t follow. He turned around, got back into the car, and then stared at the alley entrance.
Waiting for her to co out, wanting to see where she lived.
