Mary couldn’t believe what she was seeing! Her eyes widened when she realized that Mr. Kingston was not answering his phone because he was with Miss Lane?
"Why the sudden change?" Justin Kingston stopped in his tracks, his thin lips parted slightly as he focused his gaze on Mary. "What’s wrong with my mom? Why does she need to go to the ergency room?"
He wasn’t very anxious, his calmness made it feel like he was just handling a business negotiation.
Mia Lane turned her eyes to him, unable to guess what he was thinking.
Yet he still held her hand tightly, with a firm grip.
Mary regrouped, and respectfully greeted them, "Hello, Mr. Kingston, Miss Lane, madam...she watched your livestream at the kindergarten and then clutched her chest and collapsed on the sofa..."
So, she got upset?
This made Mia Lane feel awkward, with an unnatural expression on her face, feeling apologetic.
Justin Kingston’s gaze was profound as he calmly analyzed the situation.

Just then, the door of the ergency room opened and a doctor ca out.
Justin Kingston led Mia Lane over to the doctor, but before he could speak, the doctor respectfully greeted him, "Hello, Mr. Kingston, the madam’s condition is critical. We’re doing our best, but we can’t make any guarantees."
Mia Lane slipped her fingers out of Justin Kingston’s grasp and walked into the ergency room without hesitation.
Justin Kingston watched her back as sothing flickered in his eyes.
The doctor initially wanted to stop her but was quickly pulled back by Mary, "Let her in! She might be able to help! She’s a doctor! Please trust her!"
The doctor, in a hurry, pulled Mary’s hand away and swiftly followed inside!
Justin Kingston took it all in, with his hands tucked in his pockets, giving off an air of extre indifference.
Mia Lane walked in with goodwill! Her heart tightly clenched.
She knew how much Justin Kingston cared for his mother and how much he valued family!
The doctor hurried in, unable to stop her in ti as Mia Lane stood in front of the operating table.
The girl frowned slightly! There were no other doctors here.
It was just Kristina Kingston lying on the operating table, and although her complexion was good, it was not from weakness but from anger.
Kristina Kingston was startled when she saw Mia Lane, then sat up, her eyes growing colder.
"Madam..." the doctor stopped in his tracks, "I’m sorry."
Kristina Kingston waved her hand at the doctor, "It’s fine. Just make sure they don’t co in."
"Yes, madam."
The sound of the doctor’s footsteps faded away, and Mia Lane roughly understood what was happening.

This behavior was extrely inconsistent with her age!
"As long as my son doesn’t marry Monica Usher, I will refuse dication for a single day." Kristina Kingston’s eyes were cold and deep, "This matter is non-negotiable. You promised you’d leave, and you broke that promise."
"Do you really dislike , or do you genuinely like Monica Usher?" Mia Lane looked her in the eyes, asking calmly, "Or are you just trying to satisfy your own need for control? You completely disregard Justin Kingston’s feelings, treating his marriage as a ga."

"I have a heart condition," Kristina Kingston told her, "Although it’s not severe enough to require ergency treatnt, as long as I refuse treatnt, it will only get worse. If you know what’s good for you, back off obediently!"
"Mia Lane, I won’t let you succeed." The more Kristina Kingston looked at her face, the more she loathed it—because it resembled the person she hated to her core.
Mia Lane’s gaze was indifferent, "You’re absolutely mad, impossible to reason with."
