Mia Lane’s bright eyes were filled with terror and disbelief, held immobile by his embrace.
But the words he just said weighed heavily on her heart.
"Justin Kingston, you have amnesia," she said softly. "If your mory recovers, you definitely wouldn’t be standing here now."
"Then where should I be?" He closed his eyes, greedily inhaling the faint scent emanating from her.
"In the hospital," she replied. "You should be in the hospital. You are soone who cherishes family. You once risked your life to rush into a fire to save your mother."
"I also cherish you," he said. "Once, I risked my life rushing towards oncoming traffic."
Her heart cracked open, aching painfully... Mia Lane was speechless with remorse over the car accident.
"Just thinking about you leaving with Anton Miller makes my heart feel pierced with a knife. I just wanted to co and see." He confessed his feelings to her like a child.
She admitted that those words were indeed touching.
But Mia Lane knew very well that Kristina Kingston had psychological issues and was prone to acting out.
If Justin Kingston doesn’t marry Monica Usher, who knows what will happen next; everyone’s lives might not be peaceful.

"So what did you see when you ca?" she asked him. "Do you believe that Anton Ford and I are innocent?"
