"Get in the car and support him," Mia Lane said. "I’ll drive us to Ian Shelby’s place to remove the dagger. Conditions in the car are too limited."
"I’ll drive," Anton Miller said, opening the driver’s side door.
Mia Lane was worried, "You’re injured too!"
"I can still drive," he said as he got into the driver’s seat.
Mia Lane didn’t have ti to argue and looked over at the girl by the roadside, "Mary, drive Mr. Kingston’s car back! We’re heading to Dr. Shelby’s!"
Mary was standing by the roadside, holding two bouquets of lilies, and nodded blankly, utterly stunned.
Scenes of fighting like these are only seen on TV, so dangerous, a single mistake could cost lives.
The police were handling things here, because Mia Lane had already explained everything clearly over the phone, involving Mr. Kingston, and no one dared to neglect it.
"To Ian Shelby’s," Mia Lane got into the car, nervous internally but outwardly calm.
