Mia Lane sat next to him, listening to his breathing and heartbeat. This guy wasn’t as cold as she had imagined.
But clearly, it was he who invited her. Why didn’t he say a word the whole ti? Not even an invitation?
All the way, Justin Kingston remained silent, his deep eyes looking straight ahead, exuding a subtle sense of authority.
Mia Lane turned her head to look at the scenery outside the window, with so thoughts in her mind. Was he unhappy? Why did he ask her out then?
Until the car stopped outside the amusent park.
The driver opened the car door for them. They returned to reality and got out of the car.
The colorful and dazzling amusent facilities were right in front of them. It was the weekend today, so there were quite a few visitors, mostly parents bringing their children.
Of course, there were also young couples, holding hands, sotis giving each other a playful head pat.
With his hands in his pockets, Justin Kingston looked at the towering Ferris wheel, spaceship, roller coaster... He furrowed his brows slightly and asked, "What do you feel like doing?"
Mia Lane blurted out, "The roller coaster!"
The driver’s face changed as he looked at Justin Kingston with concern.
Justin Kingston’s thin lips parted slightly, "Old Chapman, go buy two tickets."
"Yes." The driver dared not refuse.
It was Mia’s first ti here; she didn’t co before while bringing children because she didn’t want to do dangerous things with them.
As for the roller coaster, she had always wanted to experience it; she had a girlish heart too.
Taking the tickets from Old Chapman, Mia couldn’t hide her excitent. Without waiting for him to invite her, she said, "You probably haven’t tried it either, right?"
"How do you know?" The man’s tone was indifferent.
The woman blurted out, "You look like soone who didn’t have a childhood!"
A hint of disappointnt flashed in the man’s eyes, savoring her words for a long ti... It was heart-wrenching to hear, but it made sense.
The roller coaster tracks resembled a spiraling dragon, soaring into the sky!
Looping left and right three tis!
Justin Kingston closed his eyes and took a deep breath, "Let’s go."
They handed over the tickets at the entrance, sat in their seats, and fastened their seatbelts. Mia was very excited, "Actually, it’s my first ti too. I didn’t dare co while with the kids before."
Justin Kingston closed his eyes, and when the machine started, his chest tightened as he gripped the handle tightly!
The acceleration made the wind lash against his handso face! It ssed up his hair, and with his eyes tightly shut, he missed the colorful scenery below.
"Ah!! How exciting!!" Mia scread all the way! Especially thrilled!
The roller coaster sotis dived like a waterfall, plunging thousands of feet, and sotis soared into the sky. To those who enjoyed it, it was incredibly thrilling! To those who didn’t, it was a nightmare of fear.
Justin Kingston only felt the sky spinning, the ground rotating, and his stomach churning!
But as the dignified president of The Kingston Group, he couldn’t scream in fear.
The centrifugal force was so great, as it plunged rapidly, Justin Kingston experienced unprecedented pain! His face turned ashen, and his thin lips were tightly pressed.
The driver watched anxiously from below, both pained and impressed, thinking Justin Kingston had really changed... just to accompany his wife on such a high roller coaster.
When the ride ended, Mia excitedly turned to look at him, "Was it fun?!" only to find his face twisted in pain with his eyes closed!
The driver hurried over to quickly unbuckle his safety harness, "Mr. Kingston, are you okay?"
Mia couldn’t help but tease him, "Really? Are you that timid?"
In the next mont, Justin Kingston stood up and rushed to the trash can, vomiting regardless of his image! The driver went with him.
This gave Mia quite a scare.
"Hey!" She quickly unbuckled her safety harness and rushed to him, "What’s wrong?" She supported him and quickly handed a pack of tissues to the driver, "Hold this, I’ll go buy so water!"
In the fastest speed she could manage, she bought a bottle of water, unscrewed the cap, and handed it to him, "Rinse your mouth. How can you vomit from riding a roller coaster? Oh, I forgot, your stomach’s not good." She felt a bit guilty.
"Mr. Kingston is afraid of heights." The driver couldn’t help but reveal the truth.
